When you get tired of hearing NO, Primerica gives you a chance at YES.

It s easier than you think. It s easy to let fear keep us from doing something great, but with Primerica s low start-up cost, first-rate training and entrepreneurial support system, you can be in business for yourself but not by yourself. Here are just a few reasons why starting a Primerica business could be a step toward rewriting your future. Jim & Sharon Sullivan Brooklyn, NY

Jackie Ashford Conshohocken, PA The job market is shaky, and unemployment is high even higher for African Americans than for the rest of the nation. 1 Becoming your own boss is the perfect solution, but the idea of starting a business can be overwhelming. It sometimes requires a big initial investment the kind of money that s hard to come by. Plus, how do you go from being an employee to running a business?

PRIMERICA You can start a business with a crazy low start-up cost of just $99 + tax! 2 no loan paperwork here! A top-notch support system and a dedicated Home Office staff give you amazing marketing and administrative tools to help you run your business. Plus, there s training all along the way to help you become great at your business! You can feel confident that you re joining a solid company whose proven system has been working and growing for decades. And you can grow your business as big as your dreams, parttime or full-time. 4 Freedom to be there when your family needs you. At Primerica, your time is your own. That means that the people who you care most about can count on you to be there for important moments in their lives the big ones and the small ones, too.

OTHER BUSINESSES YOUR JOB The average cost to start a business is $30,000! 3 Do you have $30,000 sitting around to try out a new company? The real comparison is how much your employer has invested in you. Are you important enough to your employers that they care about your future? You just have to figure out this whole business thing on your own. You re there to support someone else s dreams. Since 2008, more businesses have closed their doors than opened them. 5 Although layoff rates have slowed compared to previous years, as of September 2016, 1.5 million people lost their job due to a layoff or discharge. 6 Freedom takes a back seat. You could spend countless hours of work for very little profit (or maybe even a loss) for the first few years of your business if your business lasts. 7 Freedom? Don t count on it.

Being your own boss could help you find the personal freedom that you just can t get being somebody s employee. At Primerica, we have a group of successful African Americans helping African Americans to be successful. It s called the African American Leadership Council (AALC). This great organization is made up of Primerica reps who have earned at least $200,000 in a 12-month period. 8 From business-building tips to personal coaching, the AALC is another part of Primerica s commitment to supporting our representatives. When you become a Primerica rep, you are surrounded and supported by people who want you to win. Simone Morris, of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, worked in law enforcement before she and her husband, Herb, made the decision to join Primerica. I became a police officer because I wanted to make a difference and to give back to my community, recalls Simone. In Primerica, no matter what we do, we have that same opportunity. If I sell someone life insurance, if a tragedy should happen, that family will be taken care of, financially. If I bring someone into the business with me, at the very least they ll get educated about their finances so they can make better choices with their money. If I get someone to start a savings strategy, they can start preparing for a comfortable future. Whatever we do, it makes a difference, and that s a great feeling.

Before they were introduced to the Primerica business opportunity, Jeff & Lolita Mallard, of Homewood, IL, had tried other business ventures, only to find themselves working hard for very little reward. Jeff owned and operated two businesses and we both also had full-time jobs, says Lolita. It cost us so much to keep those businesses running that we barely made a profit. When we heard about Primerica, we loved that the startup costs were low. We accumulated the licenses and certifications we needed, we were trained and educated about finance and we were given hands on experience helping families all of which prepared us to build the successful business we have today. A few years ago, Chauvon Landry, of Metairie, LA, struggled as a waitress, living paycheck to paycheck to support her young daughter. If something didn t change, she knew she d be stuck living that same life forever. Chauvon joined Primerica in 2007 and today, along with her husband, Antoine, is building a legacy of freedom for their children. I don t know any other opportunity where the newest person has access to the experience, knowledge, and mentorship of the top-earning leaders in the company, Chauvon reflects. When people become successful, they are proud to transfer that knowledge to others. Ownership is also huge. 9 Here, you can qualify to actually own your business, so all your hard work and all your achievements everything you re putting into it can continue on through your children. When it seemed like NO was the only safe answer, these leaders said YES and started their journey toward an unbelievable future. You can, too.

Just saying YES could be the first step to a future you can look forward to.
