2 Job Description Job Title: Location: Reward Package: Post holder is line managed by: Post duration: Corporate Partnerships Executive Granta Park, Nr Cambridge Circa 21,000 per annum plus benefits Corporate Partnerships Officer Permanent Background and overall purpose of the job: The Corporate Partnerships Team at Alzheimer s Research UK (ARUK) is established and enjoying an exciting phase of growth. We are looking for a proactive and organised colleague to provide vital administrative support to the team, helping us to identify new prospective partners and build excellent relationships with our existing supporters. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. Main tasks of the role: 1. Key responsibilities Support the Corporate Partnerships Team to research and secure new partners. Provide a point of contact for fundraisers from companies that are supporting the charity, making sure they have the materials and resources required to fundraise. Provide general administrative support for the team. Keep team records updated. Assist with ad hoc projects as required by team managers. 2. Securing new partnerships Research companies to identify previous charity partnerships and manage the team Google alerts to find new leads. Send information packs to new prospects and update Raiser s Edge with future actions. Monitor monthly database information from the Sporting Events Team and Payroll Giving to generate new leads for the team. Generating weekly reports for the New Business Manager and maintaining accurate records. 3. Supporting our partnerships Provide support for individuals within companies who are doing fundraising activities such as runs or skydives preparing and sending information packs, wishing them good luck, drafting letters, and sending thank you messages. Manage online giving pages to make sure corporate supporters are identified and recorded correctly, and their income potential is maximised. Monitor database information to make sure that all information about corporate fundraisers is recorded correctly.

3 4. Administrative support Respond to incoming team enquires in a prompt and professional manner. Process cheque payments, BACS payments and cash received, and reconcile matched funding across multiple donation platforms. Fundraising stock management and distribution. Fundraising data management: adding new companies and individuals to the charity database and extracting information to help inform team strategy. Assisting the team with event planning, including sourcing pricing quotes, booking equipment and ordering merchandise. Update the team intranet and website pages and engage with supporters on social media. Process income and invoices and maintaining expenditure records. 5. Working with others Work with our Communications and Engagement team to issue regular newsletters and ad hoc communications for our corporate partners to engage staff members and motivate them to fundraise for Alzheimer s Research UK. Liaise with our distribution centre to organise mass mailings of materials needed for pitches and large partnership launches and events. Represent the Corporate Partnerships team on working groups for internal projects to ensure the team s needs are met. Work closely with the Fundraising Operations and Data teams to make sure that the Corporate Partnership team is following processes correctly, and is adopting improved practices where possible. Undertake any other relevant duties and projects delegated by the Corporate Partnerships Managers in line with the responsibilities of the post.

Good planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Experience using Microsoft Office Experience working in a customer/client facing position Demonstrable administrative experience or relevant transferable skills. Experience building and managing relationships with colleagues. Experience using databases Friendly and professional demeanour A confident and friendly manner; would feel at ease representing the charity among varied external contacts. You work well as part of a team, but are proactive and can work independently. Experience working in the charity sector Experience using fundraising databases. Experience speaking to groups Circumstances Willingness and ability to travel independently in the UK and to work outside of regular office hours when needed.

We are a non-branched charity at an exciting stage of expansion and development. Our friendly, busy and dynamic office is based in Granta Park, Great Abington, Cambridge. We offer the following benefits 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pro-rated for new starters, part-time and annualised hour employees. Option to buy up to 5 additional days leave per year, pro-rated for new starters, parttime and annualised hour employees. For every 3, 6 and 9 years worked, employees will receive 1 additional day s leave (loyalty days) which will be added to their annual entitlement, pro-rated for part-time and annualised hour employees. Standard 37.5 hour working week, with a flexible start time of between 7.30am and 9.30am and a corresponding finish between 4pm and 6pm each day. 5% employer contribution of your annual salary into the pension scheme.
