3 Process Certificate We have implemented an environmental management system certified under the label STeP (Sustainable Textile Production) by Oekotex, which regulates the use of environmentally friendly chemicals, guarantees the fullfilment of quality criteria of production and management of chemical products, as well as ensuring the good working conditions for our workers under a continuous improvement perspective. 6 Raw Materials - Cotton Obtained following BCI criteria This initiative is committed to sustainable cotton production, based on three key pillars; Environment, Social and Economic. BCI is obtained under controlled prices, having direct contact with the farmers by avoiding intermediaries, and by providing decent work conditions in the producing countries. -BCI Controls the working conditions as well as the chemicals used, in order to respect the rights of workers. -It applies better cultivation techniques and promotes the reduction of the use of pesticides and chemicals harmful to people and the environment. -To guarantee the traceability of the raw material, there is a credit transfer system, depending on the purchased / supplied material. -Both the supplier and the customer must be registered with BCI to make the transfer of credits corresponding to the BCI chain of custody. Product Certificate Certificate that guarantees a minimum% of raw material based on the criteria of biological cultivation. The articles that have obtained this recognition in TEJIDOS ROYO, contain more than 0% of organic cotton in its final composition.
