2 Working with commercial partners to improve health through people The HPMA are delighted to announce plans for working with commercial members and partners in the coming year marks our first full year as a charity and the association invites you to join us on our exciting programme of activities, led or co-ordinated by the national events team including the HPMA UK Conference and Exhibition; HPMA Awards Programme; our new branch roadshow events; branch support and media opportunities. The prospect of working more closely with you our commercial supporter community to see our vision of 'Improving health through people' realised through professional networks, continuous development and the championing excellence in HR and people is exciting. If your products and services can benefit the working lives of our members, and improve patient and service user health, then we want to help your business flourish in this tough market. HPMA UK Conference and Exhibition We will welcome hundreds of HR, OD and workforce professionals to learn, develop and share good practice at the HPMA UK Conference and exhibition in It s a fantastic opportunity for your team to meet, network and engage with HPMA members from across the UK. An unrivalled platform for engagement, networking and communication with the healthcare HR community. Our members are passionate and committed to improving practice and welcome the opportunity to learn from and influence service providers and suppliers. HPMA Branch Roadshow Events For 2017, alongside the HPMA UK Conference, the central events team will be organising a four venue branch roadshow in Late Spring 2017 (North West, London, Scotland, Yorkshire, Midlands & East). We aim to capture the essence of the national conference and exhibition but with local branch audiences (approx delegates), tailored programme and modest exhibition (up to 10 stands). You can select UK conference only, roadshow run only (four events) or UK conference + roadshow run price, where relevant. Cross-Sector Conference On 15 September 2017, HPMA and UHR will hold a joint conference for 100 HRD and DHRD delegates together with a small group of supporters at Woburn House in London. Additional details will be available shortly, but save the date! 2

BRANCH DEVELOPMENT SESSION HPMA has a long history of delivering and working with partners to deliver development events to its network of HR and OD practitioners in the health sector. We are always looking for experienced professionals to deliver short sessions (2 hours - 1/2 day) for audience to support members developing their capability in a particular skillset or knowledge area. These short sessions aim to focus on one particular aspect of the skill area rather than a comprehensive overview - and should match areas of the HPMA HR competency framework. Sessions may be delivered in a webinar format or live and we welcome pre-session work or a follow up exercises to increase value. The NHS is one of the biggest employers in the world and the biggest employer in Europe and so offers a large potential market for training organisations, and a superb opportunity to showcase your training offering to HR and OD professionals. Branches open to working with a range of organisations; training providers, colleges, universities, smaller consultancies, or NHS trusts. Partner selection will be made after consideration of experience of working within the NHS and the HR/OD community and understanding the needs of our network and ability to provide meaningful and insightful learning to stated objectives on the topics required in a short session. HRD/CEO PRIVATE DINING OPPORTUNITY Opportunity to host dinners for senior HR and OD leaders. This has worked really well over a number of years for our London branch. The HPMA have worked with IPA, Department of Health and CIPD in this way but as a commercial organisation the trustees would be mindful of implied product endorsement. Sponsors must be supportive of Healthcare People Management Association, and the client on whose behalf the sponsorship is sold. Chamberlain Dunn retains the right to reject any sponsor that its client, Healthcare People Management Association deems inappropriate. 2. Sponsors must sign the booking form which signals their agreement to these terms and conditions and return it to Chamberlain Dunn. An invoice will then be sent and must be paid within 14 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing by Chamberlain Dunn. 3. The sponsor must provide an image of their logo in the format required by Chamberlain Dunn and other details required (e.g. contact details, trademarks etc) to Chamberlain Dunn within 10 days of receipt of acceptance. 4. The sponsorship fee does not include free conference registration unless specifically stated as a sponsor benefit (where relevant). 5. All sponsorship materials must be submitted within the production schedule. 6. Sponsors may not sublet, assign or apportion any part of the item(s) sponsored nor represent advertise or distribute literature or materials for the products or services of any other firm or organisation except as approved in writing by Chamberlain Dunn. 7. Chamberlain Dunn will not be liable for damage or loss to sponsors properties by fire, theft, accident, or any other cause. 8. No part of an exhibit and signage or other materials may be pasted, nailed, or otherwise affixed to walls, doors or other surfaces in a way that marks or defaces the premises or equipment and furnishings. Damage from failure to observe this notice is payable by the sponsor. 9. In order to limit costs to Chamberlain Dunn, the event organisers may limit the number of colours used to print sponsor logos. Payment terms are: days from date of receipt of the invoice, unless otherwise agreed with Chamberlain Dunn. Overdue debts shall be handed over for collection with costs. 2. (a) The Client is not permitted to cancel this Contract except with the written consent of Chamberlain Dunn (b) Where there is an agreed cancellation permitted by paragraph (a) above, the Client shall pay to Chamberlain Dunn the amount, representing liquidated damages to compensate Chamberlain Dunn for all losses incurred as a result of the cancellation, as follows:- (i) 80% of the contract price for cancellation made more than 6 months prior to the start date of the event; or (ii) 100% of the contract price for cancellation made 6 months or less prior to the start date of the event. 3. If your internal accounting procedures/policies require purchase order numbers to be quoted on invoices, please ensure that a copy of the signed purchase order is attached to the signed booking form.
