Athletes - Pathway 1. Review National Athlete Pathway Framework TTA Para HP Program Staff in conjunction with the HP Program Staff to finalise and distribute the Table Tennis Sport Handbook. 1. TTA Para HP Program Staff in consultation with the HP Program Staff to finalise the content of the Table Tennis Sport Handbook and distribute it out to all States / Territories. 2. TTA Para HP Program Staff in conjunction with the HP Program Staff to then implement evidence based actions to improve the National Athlete Pathway Framework. 2 Athletes - Career & Education 1. Monitoring of athlete work / life balance and general well being. Collaboration of all parties to oversee work/life balance and general well being of AWE Para HP athletes using the AIS Athlete Management System (AMS). 1. Para HP Coaches initially assessing work / life balance of all AWE Para HP athletes and then in an ongoing basis via the AIS AMS. 2. Private coaches of AWE Para HP athletes to provide feedback to Para HP Head Coach regarding their AWE Para HP athletes work / life balance during future progress contact. 3. LEADERSHIP - Leadership - Para HP Leadership Ensure HP Staff Development leadership & culture 1. Provide professional to drive sustained development opportunities for contribution to AWE Para HP Leadership Staff. targets Professional development opportunities identified for Para HP Leadership Staff. 1., Para HP Head Coach and Para HP Assistant Coach to be financially supported to attend any relevant professional development opportunities including leadership workshops, coaching courses, clinics or seminars - domestically or Internationally. Conduct Para HP Leadership Coaching Staff & High Performance Director Performance Reviews. 6 monthly performance reviews conducted on all Para HP Program Staff against the Para HP Technical Plan. 1. CEO of TTA to conduct 6 monthly performance reviews on Para HP Head Coach, Para HP Assistant Coach & against the Para HP Technical Plan. 4 Leadership - Para HP Contracted Specialists Performance Reviews 3. Assessment of existing Para HP Program Specialists. Yearly performance reviews conducted on all Para HP Program Specialists against the Para HP Technical Plan. 1. CEO of TTA to conduct a yearly review on performance of Para HP program specialists with feedback received from Para HP Leadership coaches, AWE athletes & their private coaches. 2. Leadership - Program Review 4. Program planning & review. Para HP Technical Plan initially developed and then reviewed on a regular basis. 1. Para HP Technical Plan initially developed by HP Committee & then approved by the TTA Board and AIS. 2. Regular teleconferences & face to face meetings organised with HP Committee to discuss progress of Plan and make adjustments where necessary. 3. Regular contact by to AIS / APC Staff made to keep the AIS / APC updated on progress of Plan. 4. Regular stakeholder meetings conducted to review the plan - 6 monthly AWE meetings. CEO of TTA; 4. Jan - Dec 2017 Para HP Technical Plan agreed to by all stakeholders and then reviewed at the end of Dec DAILY PERFORMANCE ENVIRONMENT - Ensure access for all AWE athletes to necessary support to achieve AWE targets DPE - Para HP Camps Program 1. Maintain a camps based National Para HP Program. Development, Combined & State Based Camps to be conducted within the 12 month period x combined camps organised and all AWE athletes and their private coaches invited to attend x State based training and talent ID camps to be held each year and private coaches and Development athletes invited to attend x Vic. development and State based training sessions to be conducted by National coaches at Sunday training at Essendon. 4. Para HP Coaches to identify & organise which camps Program Specialists should attend to conduct screening & follow up assessments of AWE athletes. 5. Para HP Head Coach to determine & organise which additional specialists should attend the different camps to conduct presentations - eg: nutrition; recovery, skill acquisition x National combined Para HP Camps conducted within the 12 month period 2. 8 x State Based Training and Talent ID Camps within the 12 month period x Vic Para HP sessions conducted within the 12 month period DPE - VITAE System 2. Utilise technology to increase the number of contact hours between the AWE athletes, private coaches and the Para HP Coaches Implement the Virtual Interactive Training and Education (VITAE) System in targeted clubs where there are Para HP Squad Members training. 1. TTA to provide targeted clubs with VITAE equipment and then initiate regular National Training Sessions as well as one on one sessions between AWE athletes, private coaches and the Para HP Coaches. 2. TTA to provide financial contribution towards venue / court hire costs to conduct VITAE sessions where required. Para HP Coach; Para Assistant Coach 2. 5 DPE - Athlete Performance Plan Monitoring 3. Monitor individual DPE & regularly update performance plans for each AWE athlete. Various methods utilised to monitor individual DPE of each AWE athlete. 1. At each camp, AWE athletes progress assessed by Para HP Coaches utilising video footage and on-table training and then performance plans updated & communicated to AWE athletes and their private coaches. 2. Program Specialists screening and assessing AWE athletes at targeted camps and performance plans updated & communicated accordingly. 3. Sport Psychology one on one sessions offered as approved to AWE athletes in addition to camp sessions. 4. Athletes report daily on the AIS Athlete Monitoring System (AMS) regarding training load and wellness. 5. Weekly reports and alerts from the AIS AMS sent to Para HP Coaches, &Program Specialists and acted on as required. 5. Updated individual athlete performance plans uploaded onto the AIS AMS for Para HP Coaches, HP Director, Program Specialists & Private Coaches to view. Program Specialists % of current & future cycle AWE athletes progress against yearly performance plan being monitored at all attended camps (4-5 per yr) and via the AIS AMS. DPE - Additional Athlete Support 4. Improved DPE for AWE Podium and Podium Potential A athletes DPE - Comp / Camp Surveys 5. Provide opportunities for feedback from AWE athletes & their private coaches to Para HP management. Increased financial support by TTA for AWE Podium and Podium Potential A athletes to improve DPE. Various methods utilised to gather feedback on progress of Para HP Technical Plan to Para HP management. 1. Initial meeting organised with AWE Podium & Podium Ready Athletes & program staff & specialists to consider DPE. 2. TTA Program Staff to tailor DPE with each AWE Podium & Podium Ready Athlete to ensure environmental factors are considered. 3. While in Australia all AWE Podium & Podium Ready Athletes provided with funding to access additional SSSM services - eg: Strength & Conditioning sessions 4. While overseas an amount per week paid to AWE Podium & Podium Ready Athletes to live at the National Training Centre for training and competition needs. 1. Surveys developed by & conducted on AWE athletes & their private coaches after selected Para HP Camps using Survey Monkey. 2. Surveys developed by & conducted on all AWE athletes after selected international Para events using Survey Monkey. Program Specialists % of Podium & Podium Ready athletes being provided additional financial support in their DPE % of current & future cycle athletes / private coaches rating camps & competitions as having met their expectations or higher. DPE - Athlete Support Review 6. Provide opportunities for feedback from athletes / coaches / support staff on support of current cycle athletes. Conduct a review including performance at BME at end of the season. 1. Agreed survey instrument developed for completion by athletes, coaches and support staff. DPE - Additional Equipment 7. Assess the need to purchase additional equipment to assist with the better running of the Para HP Program. Para HP Coaches and with input from Para HP program specialists to assess if there is a need to purchase additional equipment to assist in achieving the outcomes of the Para HP Technical Plan - eg: TT equip / Video Camera / TT balls 2. 6 DPE - SIS / SAS Network 8. Utilisation of SIS/SAS Network. Contact to be made with SIS / SAS Network regarding individual scholarships & programs for eligible AWE athletes. 1. The to make contact with the SIS / SAS network in the States / Territories where eligible AWE athletes are located, in an attempt to establish networks & utilise expertise where required. 2. The to determine when applications are due each year for each SIS/SAS and communicate this to eligible AWE athletes in the relevant States / Territories. 3. The to establish network between Para HP Program Specialists and SIS/SAS Specialists to ensure programs are being aligned for eligible AWE athletes who hold individual SIS/SAS scholarships. 8. SIS/SAS networks established & program alignment monitored. COMPETITION - Ensure all AWE athletes meet competition performance expectations Competition - Athlete BME Targets 1. Bench Mark Event (BME) targets for each AWE athlete to be set and then reviewed for outcomes. Para HP Coaches to consult with private coaches and individual AWE athletes to consider, agree on & review the BME targets and outcomes. 1. Para HP Coaches in consultation with private coaches and individual AWE athletes to consider and agree on the BME targets. 2. Para HP Coaches to complete the athlete yearly competition targets as part of the individual athlete performance plan and upload onto each AWE athlete's AMS. 3. Para HP Coaches in consultation with the private coaches and the individual AWE athlete to review the outcomes of the BME targets. 1A. 100% of current cycle AWE athletes meeting their BME targets. 1B. 50% of future cycle AWE athletes meeting their BME targets. Competition - Athlete BME Targets 2. Record actual versus planned exposure to scheduled competition for each AWE athlete and aggregate for entire program. Para HP Coaches to establish the competitive opportunities taken against the total identified within the athlete performance plans. 1. From Athlete Performance Plans and individual athlete season competition plans, Para HP Coaches to establish how many competitions each athlete aims to participate in compared with how many each athlete actually competed in. 2. Aggregrate for the entire program % of competitive opportunities taken as a percentage of total identified within athlete performance plans. Competition - Athlete Support 3. Provide resources to assist athletes to achieve their competition goals. TTA to provide support, financial & otherwise to each AWE athlete to assist them in achieving their competition goals. 1. & National Event Manager to liaise with ITTF-PTT on submitting of entry forms for identified international Para events. 2. Para HP Coaches, Manager & identified specialists travelling with AWE team members to provide support while competing overseas. 3. Para HP Committee to decide on the level of funding support each AWE athlete will receive towards attending identified international Para events. 4. & National Event Manager to organise all travel & hospitality arrangements for AWE team members competing in International Para events. National Event Manager; Para HP Committee 3A. 100% of Podium & Podium Ready athletes to receive full financial support to attend selected competitions 3B. 100% Developing & Emerging athletes to receive partial funding to attend selected competitions.

7 Competition - Athlete Support 4. Identify and appoint a qualified carer to assist the wheelchair athletes at camps and international events TTA to consult with the APC to identify a suitable qualified carer to join the Aus Para Team at camps and internaitonal events. 1. Para HP Head Coach and APC SSSM Manager to interview Para wheelchair squad members to identify their care needs. 2., Para HP Head Coach and APC SSSM Manager to discuss possible carer options and costs involved. 3. APC SSSM Manager to approach a suitable qualified carer. 4. TTA to establish an agreement between carer and TTA 5. Develop a domestic PTT competition structure - Club, State and National. Clubs and States / Territories encouraged to include Para events into their competitions. 1. NPPM through the National Participation Program to encourage clubs with AWD priority projects to include Para events in their club competitions. 2. NPPM through the National Participation Program visits to encourage States / Territories to include Para events into their State / Territory 3. Match Analysis Software Develop and Program implement Research & Innovation strategy re: AWE targets Match Analysis Software program utilised to conduct in-depth game analysis on targeted international Para athletes. 1. Para HP Coaches with assistance from a university student volunteer at the AIS to use a Match Analysis Software program to analyse the top 5 class 11 male athletes in preparation for the 2018 World Para 1. Game analysis project conducted on the top 5 class 11 male international Para athletes in preparation for the 2018 World Para Research & Innovation - 2. Develop Playbooks for qualified athletes for major benchmark events Playbooks developed for each qualified athlete to assist with their pre-match preparation at major benchmark events. 1. Para HP Coaches in conjunction with the APC Skill Acquisition Specialist to gather the content for each qualified athlete to include in their playbook prior to major benchmark events. 2. Playbook content to include videos of opponents, positive quotes, points to be reinforced. Content then uploaded onto an ipad device for each qualified athlete and taken to major benchmark events. 2. All qualified athletes provided with a playbook to use at major benchmark events.

8 Research & Innovation - 3. APC 2020 Vision Project APC to undertake research on behalf of TTA to ascertain the class characteristics of Class 1 & 2 athletes for talent identification and talent transfer purposes. 1. At the Rio Paralympic Games volunteers from the Sept 16 - Dec 17 APC will look to gather research on Class 1 & 2 male and female athletes. 2. Research will include match analysis information as well as types of racquet surface used, type of wheelchair set up, athlete strapping, cushion height, age of players, etc. 3. The research gathered will then be provided to the TTA Manager for talent identification and talent transfer purposes. Manager 3. Research undertaken on Class 1 & 2 athletes for talent identification and talent transfer purposes. Research & Innovation - 4. Impairment Profiling Project APC on behalf of TTA to undertake research to better understand the impact of impairment and athlete characteristics/traits on podium potential in international Para Table Tennis. 1. The APC to use university students to undertake research to enable TTA to have a more targeted approach to identifying talent and provide more educated and evidence based decisions for classification targets, talent ID, squad selection and resources allocated to each individual. 2. The APC to undertake research to identify key referral groups to target individuals with specific impairments, in addition to those currently participating in the Para Table Tennis Pathway. 3. The TTA Manager to utilise the research provided by the APC to implement a targeted approach to talent ID. Sept 16 - Dec 17 Manager 4. Research undertaken on impairment profiling and provided to TTA for talent identification purposes. Research & Innovation - 5. Assistive Devices Project APC on behalf of TTA to undertake testing and equipment design on assistive devices for class 6 & 7 athletes. 1. The APC in conjunction with the Para HP Coaches to undertake testing on balance, movement and speed of recovery for athletes using an assistive device. 2. The APC in conjunction with the Para HP Coaches to develop innovated designs of assistive devices - eg: different types of attachment styles to the wrist; interchangeable base pieces for different playing surfaces. Para HP Coach; Para Assistant Coach 5. Testing and equipment design development on assistive devices successfully undertaken. CLASSIFICATION - Ensure all AWE athletes are internationally classified to achieve AWE targets Classification Administration 1. Masterlist Administration Athlete and Classifier National Database Masterlists to be maintained and updated on a quarterly basis. 1. to upload new / reviewed athlete classifications onto the National Athlete Database Masterlist as required & keep on file. 2. to upload new / upgraded classifier information onto the National Classifier Database Masterlist as required & keep on file. 3. to provide quarterly updates of the Athlete & Classifier Database Masterlists to the APC and upload versions onto the TTA website. 1. TTA to have an up to date National Athlete and Classifier Database Masterlist on file and on the TTA website. Classification Policy and Procedures Ensure that both the TTA Classification Policy and Classification Procedures are kept up to date. 1. with assistance from the APC Classification Manager to ensure that the TTA Classification Policy continues to adhere with the most up to date versions of the: IPC Classification Code / IF Classification Rules / APC Classification Policy. 2. with assistance from the APC Classification Manager to ensure that the TTA Classification Procedures surrounding athlete evaluation, protests & appeals, and classifier certification & training are consistent with the relevant APC standards & expectations. 3. TTA Classification Policy and Classification Procedures are fully up to date. Classification Pathway 1. Athlete Evaluation Opportunities - State Provisional Classifications to be conducted at targeted Para HP State Based Camps & Events. 1. Trainee classifiers within the local area of targeted Para HP State Based Camps & Events to be invited to assist with any provisional classifications. Para HP Head Coach 1. Provisional Classifications conducted at targeted Para HP State Based Camps & Events as required. Classification Pathway 2. Athlete Evaluation Opportunities - National Classification Panel to be appointed for 2017 National Para 1. with assistance from the APC Classification Manager to appoint a Classification Panel for the 2017 National Para 2. to organise travel, accommodation and daily allowance for all appointed Classifiers. Oct 16 - Feb Classification Panel appointed for 2017 National Para Classifier Education 1. Classifier Certification All Level A, B & C Medical & Technical Table Tennis Classifiers to be certified by the APC. 1. to provide an up to date list of all Level A, B & C Medical & Technical Classifiers to the APC. 2. APC to distribute Classifier Agreements to each Classifier for signing and returning. 3. On notice from the APC that they have received the signed agreement, to provide classifier with a certificate from TTA. 1. All Australian Table Tennis Classifiers certified with the APC. Classifier Education 2. International Classifier Training Support Identify Level A & B Australian classifiers to target and financially support to further their education. 1. with advice from the APC Classification Manager to decide on which Australian classifiers to provide further classification education opportunities to and then provide financial support for attendance at a Level A and B/C Classification Seminar. 2A. 1 x Level A or B Medical Classifier to be supported to attend a Level B/C Classification Seminar. 2B. 1 x Technical and 3 x Medical participants to be supported to attend a Level A Classification Seminar at the 2017 Oceania Para Regionals Classifier Education Conduct a Classification Updating 3. National Classifier Development Seminar at the 2017 National Para 1. to organise a Classification Updating Seminar at the 2017 National Para 2. to invite all Australian Certified Classifiers to attend the Seminar and provide a subsidy to each attending Classifier. 3. with assistance from the APC Classification Manager and appointed Head Classifier to decide on the content of the Classification Updating Seminar. 10 Classification - High Performance 1. Risk Management Implement risk management strategies for AWE athletes as required. 1. Organise to have AWE athletes with borderline provisional classification status reviewed here in Australia by Australian international medical classifiers prior to attending their first international event. 2. Organise AWE athletes to provide all relevant supporting medical documentation to who will forward onto Australian international medical classifier for review. 3. Organise strategy meetings with identified personnel for AWE athletes with borderline international review classification status prior to next international classification opportunity. Para HP Head Coach 1A. At risk AWE athletes with borderline provisional classifications reviewed by Australian international medical classifier prior to attending first international event. 1B. At risk AWE athletes with borderline international review classification status have an agreed strategy in place prior to their next international classification. Classification - Performance Outcomes 1. Maximising classification systems for performance outcomes. International Classification opportunities organised for new AWE Athletes and International Classification review of AWE athletes arranged on advice from the National Classifiers. 1. to organise for new AWE athletes to be internationally classified at their first international event. 2. to liaise with National Classifiers to identify athletes who may benefit from a classification reveiw. 3. On recommendation from the National Classifiers to submit review applications to ITTF-PTT on behalf of review status AWE athletes prior to international events. 1. All new AWE athletes internationally classified at their first international event & International classification review organised for review status AWE athletes where required. Classification - Resources 1. Website & Stakeholders Information to stakeholders to support understanding of classification within table tennis. 1. with assistance from the APC Classification Manager to maintain up to date classification information resources on TTA website. 2. to provide updates of classification information resources to the APC. 1.
