Should posses a Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a recognized University or Institute with first class in the Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering with environment as elective or with Chemical Engineering with environment as elective. Master s degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Management shall be preferable. III. Should have relevant experience of at least 05 years in different aspects of Environmental Management and Pollution Control. Those possessing Master s degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Management should have relevant experience of at least 03 years in different aspects of Environment Management and Pollution Control. Preference will be given to those having training in Environment Management. IV. Should have the basic Knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967, as amendment from time to time. V. Should possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi. VI. Candidates having Bachelor s degree in disciplines other than above shall be ineligible. The Bachelor s or Master s degree in the aforesaid disciplines of Engineering also implies Bachelor s or Master s degree respectively in Technology.
