3 Digitally Transform HR and Workforce Experiences with the SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite SAP is pleased to announce multiple innovations available for the entire SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite. HIGHLIGHTS IN THE Q RELEASE INCLUDE: Health and well-being resources for your workforce provide educational unplug and recharge content from Thrive Global, an Arianna Huffington company Time and attendance management achieve greater flexibility in the posting, amending, and filtering of time sheets Recruiting streamline recruiting with expanded, automatic data prepopulation for details on job postings and candidate offers Continuous performance management request or provide performance feedback at any time throughout the year Performance and goals, succession enhance support for diversity and inclusion initiatives with new configurable bias prevention rules and alerts within the calibration capabilities SAP Jam collaboration platform find experts and content within your organization faster with improved search capabilities 3 / 10

4 Cross-Suite SAP DATA ENCRYPTION BY CIPHERCLOUD Organizations in highly regulated industries such as federal governments, public sector, and financial services must often comply with more stringent data-protection regulations than other industries. Gain control of data encryption keys to decrease potential points of data theft and better meet these strict data privacy requirements. The SAP Data Encryption solution by CipherCloud can help your organization meet these requirements, while helping to lower compliance costs by reducing and simplifying data privacy auditing. 4 / 10

5 Core Human Resources and Payroll SAP SUCCESSFACTORS EMPLOYEE CENTRAL SOLUTION We continue our focus on localization with five new country versions of the SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central solution Estonia, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Luxembourg increasing the total number to 89. SAP BEST PRACTICES PACKAGES To accelerate implementation, you can now deploy SAP Best Practices packages directly through the upgrade center. Best practices for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central contain preconfigured HR processes, position management, total workforce management, integration, and localized content for time off and time management. You can benefit from prefilled holiday calendars, work schedules, time account types, absence types, and accrual rules. Currently, you can obtain best-practice packages for Australia, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Packages for additional countries are planned. BENEFITS In this release, you can configure the enrollment effective from date in a variety of ways: as of next month, as of next pay period, from the event date, or click date. These configurations enable you to use the correct starting date for benefits. HEALTH AND WELL-BEING RESOURCES HELP YOUR WORKFORCE UNPLUG AND RECHARGE We re excited to provide educational content from Thrive Global, an Arianna Huffington company. Your workforce can use Employee Central to access Unplug and Recharge, an actively curated collection of tips, guidance, and best practices from experts. Unplug and Recharge can help your workforce set boundaries with technology and improve their productivity and performance. 5 / 10

6 PAYROLL With this release, you can now process off-cycle payrolls for on-demand payments, such as bonus payments and advanced vacation pay, through the Payroll Control Center. SERVICE CENTER This release includes the ability to bring the term Ask HR in line with any term used in your organization to improve the usability of the application. In addition, we provide enhancements to the tickets overview page, which your users can use to find tickets faster and to keep current with the ticket status more easily. TIME AND ATTENDANCE MANAGEMENT In this release, your users can take advantage of three major enhancements for time and attendance management. First, amended time sheets that have been rejected now remain in the system with a status designated as declined so employees can change and resubmit rejected time sheets or opt to delete the time sheets. The full approval cycle is now visible for employees, managers, and HR. Second, your time administrators can gain insight into the time collectors functionality. You can now get a detailed understanding of time-evaluation for each employee and use this information when needed. Third, you can now search by time configuration. Time administrators and consultants can search for dedicated time-configuration objects such as work schedules, time types, time accounts, or time profiles for all relevant employees. This enhancement improves usability and speeds up implementation timelines. 6 / 10

7 Talent Management RECRUITING We ve simplified how your team posts jobs and provides employment offer details. In this release, our updated rules engine technology now automates things like creating a requisition, prepopulating division, legal entity, department, and location based on the hiring manager; and creating a default target bonus of 10% based on the salary in the offer. PERFORMANCE AND GOALS, SUCCESSION We re expanding your ability to promote and help ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce. In this release, you can configure and generate performance and promotion bias rules and alerts during the calibration process. For example, this means you can now detect employees who may have been overlooked for promotions or those who have had performance rating reductions after returning from a leave of absence, such as maternity leave. Plus, within continuous performance management, employees can now request and provide performance feedback throughout the year without having to wait for a formal review process. For example, managers can request feedback on a direct report from anyone at any time to gain insight into an employee s performance. A new feedback tab for employees enables them to view the feedback they have received, and they can also link or unlink feedback to activities and achievements. 7 / 10

8 COMPENSATION With new custom views, you can now more easily access and view comprehensive employee information directly from the compensation worksheet and executive review. For example, compensation planners and managers can more quickly access and view benefits, successors, compensation statement history, and performance rating information. LEARNING The ios and Android mobile apps and Web browser now flag learning courses designed and enabled for mobile devices. Employees can quickly identify the courses optimized for mobile devices, reducing barriers to learning while on the go. 8 / 10

9 SAP Jam FIND CONTENT AND EXPERTS FASTER WITH IMPROVED SEARCH CAPABILITIES Improvements to the search engine in the SAP Jam collaboration platform are making it simpler for people in your organization to find what they are looking for. Additional employee profile fields are now indexed, so it s easier to find subject-matter experts, mentors, and people to help individuals do their jobs. The search engine also indexes the recently introduced messages capability, so conversations that include each person are now available in search results. Finally, additional filtering options enable you to narrow the content you re looking for faster. IMPROVED EMPLOYEE EXPERIENCE FOR FINDING CONTENT IN SAP JAM To improve the employee experience, this release includes enhancements in content navigation and viewing. You can quickly access a small thumbnail of the group content without having to open the content. Also, employees searching for content can save their sort order and filtering settings for future use. Additionally, viewing and collaborating on spreadsheets has improved with a new viewer. You can add comments by annotating spreadsheets directly within the interface for SAP Jam. Expanding on the previous real-time content updates, each page now automatically shows new and changed items without the need to refresh the page. CREATE A SEAMLESS INTRANET EXPERIENCE WITH SAP JAM SAP Jam continues to enhance its people-centric intranet approach. In this release, you can now extend your enterprise look and feel into SAP Jam with a new customizable navigation header, enabling a seamless transition between employeefacing applications and SAP Jam. 9 / 10
