4 The BECC is an Emergency Coordination Center which has a direct link to the State Emergency Operations Center

5 A Coordination Center for the Private Sector Belongs to the Private Sector Supported by the Private Sector Staffed by the Private Sector Interactive through Liaisons to the SEOC Activated by a request of the SEOC Operates with flexibility as the BECC Set up using an ESF structure Utilizes WebEOC for Situational Awareness

6 Enterprises with a vested interest in the emergency will have an opportunity to engage in the BECC Primarily for Business Associations and Sector Representatives Will be staffed by the Private Sector for the Private Sector

7 During disasters & emergencies; Through Liaison, interact with the SEOC Provide information to the SEOC reference the impact of the disaster on the Private Sector Provide SEOC assistance to prioritize utility restoration, transportation corridors and resources necessary for movement of emergency services, logistical support, and assets required to support the economic stability of Arizona

8 Serve as an interactive forum through which Government and the Private Sector can discuss the impact of the incident on the Private Sector, and the Private Sector can distribute official information. BECC will become a single point of contact to make and receive phone calls, e mails from individual enterprises about the impact of the incident.

9 Provide assistance to the SEOC in identifying available resources during emergencies Liaison with ADEM Staff that will serve as a conduit for the BECC to refer significant issues to the SEOC Helps the eliminate free lancing
