Our broad portfolio of equipment are designed for long life and high performance, however all instruments over time will experience a decrease in operating effectiveness and efficiency. As a result, it is imperative to service equipment regularly. Equipped with qualified service technicians and modern service facilities, our ongoing commitment is to ensure that instruments remain operating at their highest quality over time. All Air-Met Scientific Service Technicians have appropriate training and repair and maintain over 20,000 pieces of equipment for our clients each year. We recognise organisations are busy at times or simply can t afford equipment to be offsite. For this reason we have a fleet of fully equipped mobile service vans in each office location to provide on site service, maintenance and equipment management solutions. All instruments that undergo repair or service at one of our seven service facilities or via our mobile service fleet are diagnosed and repaired to factory specifications or as per customer specifications and returned in a timely manner. Renting equipment is an effective solution for optimising your equipment utilisation. Leukaemia Foundation World s Greatest Shave Every hour, someone in Australia is diagnosed with leukaemia, lymphoma or myeloma. Every two hours, someone dies as a result. Although survival rates are improving, blood cancers like these are the second biggest cause of cancer death in Australia. Air-Met has been proud to support the Leukaemia Foundation s World s Greatest Shave Event since 2011 and has donated over $80,000 to help support and raise awareness for the cause. Through the annual Air-Met Customer Satisfaction Survey, Air-Met has chosen to support Challenge by donating $5 for every survey completed in support of children with cancer. Bear Cottage Bear Cottage is NSW s only children s hospice offering respite and palliative care to children and people with life limiting illnesses. Families do not pay to stay at Bear Cottage which relies heavily on the community for funding to continue these special services.
