18 Arthur Lincoln Pauls, D.O. One of my favorite questions is to ask, If a person can adapt to an imbalance and believe it feels right, why can t they also adapt to a better working arrangement which is more natural? a habit is a conditioned reflex, something we train ourselves in, to do an action, or series of actions, to serve some purpose. If it is good, it has constructive qualities. If however it is a bad habit, its destructive qualities will ultimately lead to degeneration and all the ramifications that follow. As far as self-correction goes, every thought we have, every move we make can be studies if we watch ourselves doing it. Arthur Lincoln Pauls, D.O., The Philosophy and History of Ortho- Bionomy, 2002, ALP Publishing, p. 177
