Mentees 3-10 years industry experience EA financial members only Looking for career advice Female and male welcome Willing to take initiative and drive learning Mentors 10 years + industry experience EA members preferred Willing to share experience Female and male welcome Key Events Introduction to the Collaborative Mentoring Programme Selected individuals will be invited to the introduction networking session where mentees will be encouraged to engage with and choose their mentors organically. Once pairs are chosen, mentees will organise and drive all informal mentoring meetings agreed with mentors. The College of Leadership and Management will facilitate a discussion among separated mentors and mentees to share experiences, insights, learnings and how to get the most of the remaining programme. Collaborative Mentoring Conclusion The mentoring conclusion will recognise all participants involved and allow thanks to be shared over food and drinks. 6 Applicant s Declaration I am / not a current member of Engineers Australia in the Sydney Division and I am nominating myself to participate as a mentor / mentee in the 2018 Collaborative Mentoring Program. I agree to the following commitment: To commit to a six-month volunteer commitment beginning May 2018 and ending on November 2018 To attend an initial induction meeting in May 2018 To attend a mentoring workshop in August 2018 To meet with my mentee / mentor for about one hour each month (this meeting can be in person, phone or Skype as agreed between the two of you for the six-month period and includes key events) To send a short, written report to the Collaborative Sydney Mentoring Committee providing feedback at the end of the program. To participate in mentoring conclusion session in November 2018 To respond to s and phone calls from the Collaborative Sydney Mentoring Committee within a reasonable amount of time I understand that the Collaborative Mentoring Committee will match the mentor-mentee pairs if I am unable to do so at the end of the initial induction meeting in May Disclaimer: Participation in the Engineers Australia Collaborative Mentoring Program is voluntary, the Collaborative Mentoring Committee (College of Leadership and Management, Women In Engineering, Young Engineers Australia Sydney) is not responsible for the outcomes. By signing this form, the signatory gives permission to the Collaborative Mentoring Program Committee to disclose details contained in this form to mentors and mentees that participate in the Collaborative Mentoring Program. The information contained in the registration form will be used solely by Engineers Australia Sydney Division for the purpose of facilitating the Mentoring Program and will not be used for any other purposes.
