3 Core Benefits Holidays Pensions Start with 22 days and watch them grow by a day each year up to 25 days. We close our office over Christmas so we throw in an extra day's holiday for that too so you only need to use 2 days! We offer access to a company contributory pension. Put in a minimum of 3% of your salary and we'll add an additional 3%. You'll be auto-enrolled three months after joining.

4 Office Benefits Free fruit & drinks We offer all our people a selection of fruit and a drinks fridge filled with refreshments that you can help yourself to throughout the day. We also have fresh coffee on tap. After all, recruiting can be thirsty work! Oh, and did we mention the pool table and Friday happy hour? Gym membership After you pass your 6-month probation, you're entitled to a fully paid for gym membership with Fitness First Gyms. You also get an Understanding Recruitment hoodie! Fun Fridays We finish at 4PM every Friday and it's also our dress down day so you can slip into the weekend in style.

5 Recognition Performance Every month the whole company gets together to review the past month and see what's coming up. We also announce our 'Sales Person of the Month' and 'UR of the month', the person epitomising everything we stand for. We also give out annual awards at our Christmas bash! Director's Lunches We hold regular director's lunches at exclusive dining venues for team member who have hit their targets. Team Breakfasts Once a month, each team has a paid for breakfast meeting. If your team hits their target they also get an early Friday finish and a paid for afternoon out in London.

6 Location St. Albans Our offices are in the heart of the gorgeous North London city of St. Albans. The cathedral and adjacent Verulamium Park are in walking distance and there is a huge selection of shops, restaurants and coffee shops to explore on your lunch break. Free parking We pay for your city centre parking in The Maltings multi-storey car park. Just bring us the yellow coin on your first day and we'll give you your parking pass.

7 Travel Half year trips We host regular trips for team members who have hit 110% of their target. In the past these have included team holidays to Croatia and Portugal. We also hired out a whole villa in Bergerac, France. Sabbaticals After you've been with us for 5 years, you're entitled to a 3-month sabbatical. When you return all refreshed and tanned you're guaranteed to get your job back. Winner trips Once a year our best performers, who hit 115% of their target, go on an unforgettable trip together. In previous years we've sent winners to Las Vegas, New Orleans, Barbados, and Cuba!

9 The best you Training We believe that personal and professional growth are really important. We want the best you at work every day so we invest in your growth. When you first join Understanding Recruitment you will go through an induction training course with our Founding Directors. After that we offer regular external training to make sure you have everything to succeed in your role. We also have a mentoring programme and our top performers mentor junior members of the team. Leadership Courses We have a clear progression plan in place and if you work hard you can be promoted quickly. Once you've been promoted three times you can start building your own team. We send you on leadership courses at the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) that help you make that transition to leading your own team easier.
