2 Z-Axis Pulse HRM is a cloud based on demand application that provides everything you need for employee data management and employee self service.

3 This Help Document introduces the key features and points out the basic navigations through the application so you can start using it immediately.

5 This is the PulseHRM Home page.

6 This is the global header with the global links located in the upper right corner of every page.

7 These are the various Tabs to which the user has access to. The active Tab is highlighted.

8 These are the various quick links available to the users. Use them to quickly view/perform required operations.

9 For example the Employee Hierarchy quick link displays the organizational reporting hierarchy. Navigation path: Home -> Employee Hierarchy (quick link).

10 This is the Message Center that has updates and notifications relevant to the user.

11 List sections organize your data into logical groupings. Hyperlinks (where ever relevant) provide a link to view the details of the record. Title bars identify each section of a page.

12 For example clicking on the SR Number hyperlink displays the details of the Service Request with the history of updates and option to Add Comments.

13 This is the Company Setup page for the Admin to setup the company level information. Navigation Path: Administration tab -> Organization sub-tab -> Company.

14 This is the Configuration page for the Admin to configuring the Locations for the company. Navigation Path: Administration tab -> Organization sub-tab -> Location. The same can be done for configuring the Departments from under the Administration -> Organization navigation.

15 The following Assignment related configurations for the company are available Pay Scales, Grades, Competency, KPIs and Designation. Navigation Path: Administration tab -> Assignment sub-tab -> <Specific Parameter>.

16 Roles define the access levels to the application. Custom roles can be created based on the 4 out-of-the-box role templates Admin, Manager, Team Lead and Employee. Navigation Path: Administration tab -> Access Management sub-tab -> Role -> Role Creation. Depending on the Role Template selected the default access levels are pre-populated. These selections can be modified to create the custom roles.

17 Access to Configuration, Tabs, Lists/Views and Permissions are controlled via Roles definition.

18 The following Leave Administration features can be configured Leave Types, Leave Entitlements and Holiday Calendar. Navigation Path: Administration tab -> Leave Administration sub-tab -> <Specific Parameter>. Different Leave Types can be configured that are Location or Employee specific. Leave Entitlements can be used to define Initial Balances & Exception Leaves. The Holiday Calendar supports location based Holidays list for the Organization. Rules to define applicability of the different Leave Types can be configured.

19 The List of existing Employees can be viewed/updated and new Employees with all the relevant details can be created from the Employee tab. Navigation Path: Employee tab -> Employee sub-tab -> Employee List / Add Employee.

20 For a new Employee, along with the basic and work related information the following can be added Family Details, Qualification, Employment History, Competencies, KPIs and Employee specific documents.

21 During the employee lifecycle with the organization, career events like Promotions and Transfers can also be managed. Navigation Path: Administration tab -> Promotion / Transfer sub-tabs.

22 All Employees have access to the Self Service module to View/Update their Profile, Change Password and raise Service Requests. Navigation Path: Self Service tab -> Update Profile/Change Password/Service Request sub-tabs.

23 An Employee can make updates to their Contact details, Family Details, Qualification, Employment History and Documents Navigation Path: Self Service tab -> Update Profile sub-tab. An Employee s Profile can also be accessed through the My Profile quick link from the Home page

24 An Employee can also change their Password. Navigation Path: Self Service tab -> Change My Password sub-tab.

25 For issues that require help from colleagues an Employee can raise a Service Request and track/request updates to the same. Navigation Path: Self Service tab -> Service Request sub-tab. Notifications through the Message Center and are sent out to the Requestor and Assignee. Clicking on the hyperlink on the SR Number displays the details of the SR.

26 Employees can view Holiday Calendar, Leave Balance, History and Status and Apply for new Leaves through the Leave module. Navigation Path: Leave tab -> Apply Leave sub-tab. Notifications through the Message Center and are sent out to the Requestor and Approver.

27 By default the immediate reporting manager is set as the Approver but this can be changed to the next higher level. Navigation Path: Leave tab -> Leaves For Approval sub-tab. An Admin can also approve the Leave requests in the absence of the Approving Manager.

28 Real-time analyses are embedded through the application to help provide a snapshot of the relevant information.

29 Drilldowns are available for deeper and detailed analysis.

30 The Reports tab contains a comprehensive catalog of all the prebuilt reports. Existing reports can be modified with additional criteria for achieving better custom objectives. Access to the individual Reports can be controlled at the Role level. Reports can be downloaded in the following formats - CSV, HTML, PDF. Reports can also be directly ed to the intended recipients along with a customized mail message.
