It is created by using a number of key identity tools which, together, create a distinctive message about our organisation. Controlling the use of verbal and visual communications reinforces what we stand for. We build powerful associations with our brand, strengthening awareness of who we are and what we have to offer. This identity tool kit has been developed to help you understand and work with the Harvey Nash visual identity. By following the simple principles outlined in this document, you will play an integral part of promoting us as a world-class brand.

1.1. Master logo 3 The Harvey Nash master logo is a seal of quality. The shape and the colour of the logo have been specifically chosen to achieve maximum stand-out in our market. The logo symbolises: Professionalism Added-value consultancy Practical Fast-moving Logo Logo strap line

1.2. Master logo variants 4 Our logo is available in four different colour variants. They have been designed for optimum reproduction on specific applications. The colour logo should be used whenever possible. The colour logo is available in two print formats: spot colour and four-colour process (CMYK). There is a black logo for use when colour is not available and a reversed logo for use on third-party materials. Harvey Nash CMYK Harvey Nash spot Harvey Nash on background Harvey Nash white out

1.3. Master logo clear space and minimum 5 For maximum impact our logo should always be prominent and legible. Do not crowd it with text or other graphics. The defined area around the logo, known as the clear space, must be kept free of all other elements. H H Never alter the space. For maximum legibility and visibility, a minimum size of 20mm has been defined for the Harvey Nash master logo with strapline. Versions smaller than this should not be used and instead the logo should be used without the strapline - but only use versions without strapline only when there is no alternative. H H The clear space is defined by the height of the letter H Master logo - with strapline Logo without strapline (only to be used when strapline illegible) Web address bar icon (only to be used in the circumstances stated below) minimum size for print: minimum size for web: 20mm 250 pixels minimum size for print: minimum size for web: 15mm 200 pixels On the web it may be necessary to have the logo less than 200 pixels (such as in the address bar of a browser). In this case the above icon should be used, but the name 'Harvey Nash' should be within close proximity

1.4. Master logo what not to do... 6 A strong and consistent visual identity is an important element of Harvey Nash's image to it's customers. Please ensure that the logo is not changed in any way or added too - as this reflects badly on the company's image. Do not alter the width and height independently to alter the scale Do not add any effects to the logo, such as drop shadows, gradients etc. Do not have place the logo on a background that renders the strapline illegible. Use a version of the logo with the strapline in white instead Do not have place the logo on a background that is too similar to the red of the logo. Do not break up the elements of the logo, or remove the strapline.
