No Number of direct reports: 0 Number of indirect reports: 0 Level of Role Staff or Specialist EA 4, 7, 9 and 12 Evaluated grade: To be evaluated Section 1: Purpose and context Purpose of the Position To operate & maintain Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants to produce potable water, treated effluent, biosolids & recycled water to agreed Regulatory & Health standards. This specific role purpose is seeking an Industrial Licensed Electrician with highly developed instrumentation skills to support the production and maintenance teams in diagnostic and troubleshooting. The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years experience in a Water and Wastewater plant and/or experience deemed equivalent. The candidate will be part of the operational team and will learn all aspects Wastewater treatment plants to the highest level of Tertiary treatment. The preferred candidate should have a minimum of 2-5 years experience in a Water and Wastewater plant and/or experience deemed equivalent. The candidate will be part of the operational team and will learn all aspects Wastewater treatment plants to the highest level of (Tertiary treatment). Additionally, SCADA (hardware and software) knowledge will be advantage. Additional notes: The applicant should be able to apply all safety processes, have strong communication and effective planning skills, have a good understanding of maintenance and reliability strategies, consistently demonstrate Sydney Water s signature behaviours and be passionate about continuous improvement. Furthermore the successful applicant will be required to develop skills in using plant SCADA, BMIS, SWIRL, Peoplesoft, risk management and Maximo.
