2 Intern Cohort Sessions--Learning from other interns based in our offices in Los Angeles (Monrovia, CA), New York City, Seattle (Federal Way, WA), and Washington, D.C. through weekly video conference calls. PROGRAMME LOGISTICS & QUALIFICATIONSInternship Programme DatesSeptember 8 December 11, 2015 StipendInterns are paid a monthly stipend of $750HoursFull-time and part-time opportunities are available (24-40 hours/week)locationinternships will be based in Monrovia, CA; Federal Way, WA; Washington DC; New York;EligibilityAll candidates must meet the following requirements:-- At least 18 years of age.-- Current college student, graduate student, or recently graduate from an undergraduate/graduate program (within 2 years).-- Eligible to work in the United States.-- Able to work a minimum of 24 hours per week.-- Adhere to the Christian Statement of Faith required by all World Vision International employees. FALL 2015 INTERNSHIPS IN MONROVIA, CA Christian Formation Intern Eligible Candidates: Recent college graduate or current graduate student/completed graduate program Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Religious Studies, Biblical Studies, International Development (1) Research and map both internal and external tools and resources which are being used to evaluate and discern the spiritual landscape (beliefs, norms, etc) in the communities we work in for purpose of developing three-year strategy plans. (2) Create internal presentations and report documents based on the findings of the research and be prepared to present them to working group members and key stakeholders as assigned by manager. (3) Assist with maintaining feedback and documentation from working group and key stakeholders as the project progresses. (4) Research positions of various global & regional institutions on faith matters to explore opportunities for World Vision to engage with these institutions. As time permits: (5) Support the development of position description and application of internal candidates for CC Global Technical Resource Network roles (practitioners, trainers/facilitators, manager/advisor); emphasis on Spiritual Nurture of Children trainer positions, (6) Research the availability of resources and current practices (internal/external) around church mobilization for GC-CC Church Partnership & Engagement Framework Financial Planning & Analysis Intern

3 Eligible Candidates: Recent college graduate or current graduate student/completed graduate program Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics (1) Coordinate and interface with P&C, Accounting, FRSC, IT staff and GC department managers for all administrative tasks of the department. (2) Assist in coordinating FP&A communication to GC departments, and WVI partnership, organize department meetings, travel and maintain FP&A annual and multi-year calendar. (3) Review and analyze monthly GL/CBR report and follow up with various department managers/groups as needed/assigned to provide variance explanation to FP&A leadership's review. (4) Review, analyze and track budgets vs actual, forecasts of any GC departments as assigned by FP&A leadership. (5) Create and maintain various financial adhoc reports, briefings and presentations for Senior Leadership, Departments and Project Managers. Governance Intern Eligible Candidates: Current college student or recent college graduate Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Business Administration, International Development, Political Science, Public Administration/Policy, Spanish The Governance Department is actively working with National Offices and their boards to support their oversight structures and decision making. The intern will mainly be focused on department projects such as: (1) Review and analysis of existing governance resources to contribute to online resource library and an archival version that will be available to boards and National Office staff worldwide. (2) Utilize writing skills and creativity to develop a short e-learning course that focuses on a best practice in Governance. (3) Serve as primary correspondent with National Office board contacts to research and collect board information, including member composition, meetings documents and evidence of performance. (4) Make improvements to board member database and track updates. (5) Develop useful presentations and other resources for department. (6) Spanish language skills are desirable as many of the resources are created for the Latin American National Offices. Global Communications Intern Eligible Candidates: Current college student, recent college graduate or current graduate student/completed graduate program

4 Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Business Administration, Communication, Information Technology Library Science, Marketing (1) Support the Shared Communication Services team through assisting the Global Digital Asset Manager with content management projects. (2) Collect and analyze business and technical requirements for multiple content management solutions. (3) Support the development of a standard Metadata and Taxonomy model. (4) Coordinate focus groups and collect, organize, and analyze focus group data in spreadsheets. (5) Communicate with external software developers and internal staff on a global scale. Global Treasury & Finance Intern Eligible Candidates: Recent college graduate or current graduate student/completed graduate program. Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Finance, Economics, Business Intern will have responsibilities in two areas: Cash Management and Risk Management. (1) Within Cash Management assist with the current Request for Proposal (RFP) process concerning bank consolidation across the organisation. (2) Participate in data gathering and analysis to inform the RFP process. This will provide exposure to international banking and detailed insight into banking operations. (3) Within Risk Management conduct market research and compile economic research. (4) Communicate and interact with National Office Finance teams as they work through the foreign exchange hedging process for FY16. Global Supply Chain Management Intern Eligible Candidates: Current college student, recent college graduate or current graduate student/completed graduate program Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management (1) Implement new Contract Management System for Global Procurement within Coupa (cloud-based procurement and supply chain software). (2) Design numbering system for tracking and reviewing purposes. (3) Create purchase orders in collaboration with suppliers. (4) Liaise with National and Regional Offices to receive contracts. (5) Develop monitoring system for contracts and renewals.

5 HR Information Systems Intern Eligible Candidates: Current graduate student/completed graduate program Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, International Technology (1) Our intern will not be treated as just an intern! You will be a key member of our team, and will be assigned as a business analyst to specific tasks, deliverables and business problems within the context of a global human resources information system (HRIS) implementation. (2) You will have ownership over your own work and will have assignments with expected scope, timelines and tangible deliverables that will be required as a member of the project team. Deliverables are to be produced timely and with quality. (3) You will be assigned requirements outside of the scope of the project to participate in, such as pertinent reading material, personal/professional development tasks, and others as agreed with your manager. (4) You will be expected to lead some devotional sessions as part of team meetings. (5) Required skills: excellent oral and written communication abilities, advanced analytical skills and ability to work independently in a virtual work environment. HR Operations Intern Eligible Candidates: Recent college graduate or current graduate student/completed graduate program. Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Business Administration, Communication, Human Resources, Leadership, Organizational Communication, Organizational Psychology, Psychology (1) Support the implementation of ongoing training events for managers and HR professionals across the organization. (2) Research best practices and emerging trends within employee engagement, Millennial talent acquisition, and talent management. (3) Contribute to online learning module development and content creation for new HR training programmes. (4) Assist with ongoing document management projects within new employee records system. Interested in learning about leadership development and talent acquisition/recruiting? You will work as a key member of our team as we develop and coordinate weekly internship programming including our World Vision Speaker Series, Professional Development Seminars, Intern Cohort Sessions and more! Specific responsibilities include: (1) Support the overall coordination of the Summer 2015 Internship Programme. (2) Support recruiting efforts for the Fall 2015 Internship Programme. (3) Communicate relevant information to all interns in the US-based offices with regard to cohort session details, schedules and weekly activities. (4) Research and develop engaging seminars relevant to the development of emerging professionals. Payroll Intern Eligible Candidates: Current college student, recent college graduate, or graduate student Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Accounting, Business (1) Assist Payroll Administrator with processing the International Field Staff payroll. (2) Reconcile payroll accounts; research to identify action necessary to clear items. (3) Project to gather US expat taxable income will include preparing annual communications, analyzing data, preparing payroll entries, maintaining database and responding to inquires People & Organizational Development Intern Eligible Candidates: Current college student, recent college graduate, or graduate student Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Communications, Education, Human Resources (1) Assist in the design and development of resources/support materials for the Global Leader Orientation (GLO), and Management Essentials. (2) Develop communication strategy and marketing materials for programmes across the Leadership & Executive Development portfolio elearning: (3) Evaluate existing elearning resources. (4) Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the Partnership to develop engaging elearning resources for use across the People and Organization Development, Talent & Learning portfolio Assessment: (5) Create communication and training materials to support the

7 implementation of a new Manager 360 survey. (6) Develop tools to assist managers and leaders with development planning that incorporates data from 360 feedback. (7) Conduct analysis of existing Leadership 360 feedback to determine trends and priorities development areas for programme enhancements. Resource Development Intern, Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs Eligible Candidates: Graduate student/completed graduate program Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: International Development, Economics, Disaster Response, Humanitarian Assistance, Humanitarian Policy (1) Analyze humanitarian donor trends in support of the Resource Development Group. (2) Conduct market share analyses. (3) Support ongoing development of metrics and monitoring systems. (4) Research additional issues and topics within the fields of disaster management and humanitarian assistance, as needed. Spiritual Nurture of Children Intern Eligible Candidates: Graduate student/completed graduate program Appropriate Fields of Study/Majors: Child Development, Religious Studies, Biblical Studies, Missiological Studies, International Studies Explore promising practices for Spiritual Nurture of Children (SNC) across WVI through: (1) Working together with various WV National/Regional Offices and stakeholder implementing promising practices,( 2) Identifying connection areas between these practices and the SNC framework (3) Identifying promising practices that can translate into to project models. (4) Create a complete electronic library of the abovementioned promising practices across World Vision International (WVI) that contributes directly to SNC (project designs, modules reports, stories etc.) (5) Create SNC communication pieces for Christian Commitments (CC), Child Development and Rights (CDR), and the SNC interest group newsletters Strategy, Collaboration & Innovation Intern Eligible Candidates: Current graduate student or completed graduate program

(2) Create strategic summaries of the current state and opportunities for growth in scaling digital health, nutrition, agriculture, education, economic development within specific national contexts. (3) Undertake and document technology for development (ICT4D) landscape analyses and assessments of key countries where World Vision operates.
