2 Trainings & Certifications Highlights Certified HRM Professional Batch # 9 & 10 Ceremonies Last quarter has observed passing out ceremonies for two batches of Certified Human Resource Management Professionals, where Highly Keen - The HR Institute celebrated the Certification ceremony of the 9 th & 10 th batch on 6 th April, 2013 and 14 th June, 2013 respectively. Mr. Jibran Bashir - CEO Highly Keen and Course facilitator for CHRMP, awarded the certificates to qualifying participants. The Certification ceremony was followed by a group Dinner at Shezan Regale, DHA. HR Professionals from Mobilink, Lahore Electric Supply Company, Pepsi Riaz Bottlers, Looptex Pvt. Ltd., Winrock International, Nippon Paints, Bin Rasheed Colors, Fibersole Pvt. Ltd., LUMS, Makhdoom Hospital, Global Engineering & Services, Shapes Health Studio, and etc. passed out in these batches. Certified OD Specialist Batch # 1 Ceremony Highly Keen - The HR Institute celebrated the Certification ceremony of first batch of its Level 2 Certification progam, Certified Organization Development Specialist (CODS) on 15 th June, Mr. Jibran Bashir - CEO Highly Keen and Course facilitator, awarded the certificates to qualifying participants. The Certification ceremony was followed by a group Dinner at Shezan Regale, DHA. HR and OD Professionals from Millat Tractors, Sapphire Mills, Transformers, Vopium Pvt. Ltd., Ruba- Sez Group, Jalal Sons, Daewoo, MTech Pvt. Ltd., Global Engineering & Services, and etc. passed out in first batch. Millat Tractors Highly Keen - The HR Institute organized a two days Management Development Program at Millat Tractors Ltd. on May 29 th & 30 th, Mr. Jibran Bashir the Lead Trainer at Highly Keen facilitated this program for the senior management of Millat Tractors. On the second day, CEO Millat Tractors graced the event with his presence and did the honors for Participants and Trainer. In addition to the programs highlighted above, Highly Keen Conducted multiple other programs including 9 In-House Workshops for its clients during the last quarter.

3 Consultancies HR System Development / OD During this quarter Highly Keen has completed the consultancies of a Uniform Manufacturing & Sale Organization, A Professional Suiting Brand, and an Engineering Concern. Where Highly Keen Consultants performed the Organization wide Analysis in the offices spread over different Cities of Pakistan, afterwards they developed the Organizations Structures, Job descriptions and HR Policies, Procedures & Documents for the clients and then further implemented the newly developed HR System through different OD interventions and Training Workshops. Supply Chain System Development Highly Keen s consultants have a special expertise in reviewing and / or developing from scratch the systems of various supply chain domains, including but not limited to Procurement, Raw material Storage Handling & Tracking, Production, Quality Assurance, Warehousing & Logistics, After Sales Services and etc. in previous quarter Highly Keen has developed supply chain systems of a garments manufacturing company and an Engineering Concern including the development of work instructions and SOPs at every single step of the supply chain. Distant Learning HR Distance Learning Programs (HRDLP) Highly Keen Completed 8 th Batch and Started 9 th Batch of its HR Distance Learning Programs in this quarter. The Programs are catering the professional learning needs of professionals living outside Lahore or in other countries at the time & place of their choice. In this quarter Participants got enrolled in Certificate courses of 3 Months duration in the fields of Recruitment & Selection, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Training & Development, Industrial Relations & Labor Laws, and International Human Resource Management. 42 Participants from within & outside Pakistan completed HRDLP Programs. Executive Evenings Executive Evening with Tayyab Aijaz Highly Keen - The HR Institute conducts Executive Evenings as a monthly networking opportunity for professionals. Highly Keen - The HR Institute hosted the 5th Executive Evening on March 25th, 2013 where Mr. Tayyab Aijaz (Founder & CEO Roshan Group) shared his experiences and views on "Entrepreneurship Challenges in Pakistan". The evening was attended by professionals from various domains of wide ranging businesses.

4 Highly Keen Publication - Book Launch Highly Keen s 1 st Publication Human Resource Management in Pakistan s Context Highly Keen The HR Institute launched its first publication A Book titled, Human Resource Management in Pakistan s Context in the last quarter. Human Resource Management in Pakistan s Context authored by Highly Keen's HR Consultants & Trainers - Jibran Bashir & Sara Afzal is an ideal book for any HR student studying at any University in Pakistan or for working HR professionals/ professors, as this book addresses the HRM in a practical way with local perspective of Pakistani corporate sector. Within the first two months of book Launch it has received an enormous welcoming response from corporate sector and academia. HR professionals not only in Pakistan but from abroad are booking orders for getting hold of their copy of the HRM book which indeed is a pleasure for Highly Keen. Salient Features of Book: A book written in context of Pakistan. Procedural knowledge of HRM functions with a practical approach and their linkage with strategy. Explains the compensation and benefits in context of Labor Laws of Pakistan. Develops a sense of writing HR Policies and Procedures (Sample policies given as examples). All HR forms and letters are given as samples in various chapters of book. A chapter has been dedicated for emerging concepts of HRM in Pakistan.

5 Highly Keen Publication - Book Launch Book placement in LUMS Library Mr. Jibran Bashir - CEO Highly Keen & Author of the book "Human Resource Management in Pakistan's Context" presented his book to Dr. Muhammad Ramzan - Director Library LUMS & President Pakistan Library Association (PLA). This publication of Highly Keen is now available in the HRM Books Section at LUMS Library. Book presented to Ex-Federal Minister for Science & Education Mr. Jibran Bashir presented his book to Dr. Sania Nishtar; President - Heartfile (A Public Health Sector NGO on Highly Keen's Client Portfolio) and Recent Caretaker Federal Minister of Pakistan for Science and Technology, Information Technology, Professional Education and Training. Book Placement in Superior University Library Ms. Sara Afzal - Director Operations & Communication at Highly Keen & Co-Author of the book "Human Resource Management in Pakistan's Context" presented the book to Dean and HR Faculty at Superior University. The book is now available in the HRM Books Section at Superior University Library. Placement at Book Stores Highly Keen's 1st Publication "Human Resource Management in Pakistan's Context" is available at selected book stores in Gulberg, Lahore.

CEO Highly Keen Visited Superior University Jibran Bashir, Founder & CEO Highly Keen - The HR Institute delivered a session at 3rd Entrepreneurship Forum organized by Superior University, Lahore on 19th March, Students and professors of MBA discipline attended the session. After the Session Director QA at Superior University did the honors. CEO Highly Keen - Mr. Jibran Bashir as OD Expert at LCCI Radio Mr. Jibran Bashir, CEO Highly Keen - The HR Institute has started his radio series with program name "Managing Companies" as an Organization Development Expert at FM 98.6 (Official Radio Station of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry). Through this platform he addresses various organization management as well as professional development issues and gives solutions. As yet 12 programs have been aired through LCCI Radio.
