1 2018 Compliance Training All Compliance training (formerly known as AMOC or Safety Day) will be accessed through the Virtua Learning System (VLS) beginning February 1. Managers of non-employees will need to request or verify access through IS Security. Requests can be submitted on the Vine/Forms/IS Access Request Form (New and Current Employees and ). Training is based on the job code assigned in the organization. As a non-employee, the Search function in the VLS may be utilized to locate the applicable Compliance training based on. Managers will identify the correct curricula and communicate the expectation to the non-employee. Note: everyone must complete at minimum Virtua Compliance Training 2018-All Employees. Use the Search field in the VLS to find and select the needed Compliance Curriculum/s. 2 To Access: 1. From the VLS, open Your Transcript. There are two ways to access: a. Click My Learning in the blue banner and then select View Your Transcript OR b. Click on the My Transcript icon 2. Your designated Curriculum/s will be found under Active. Every person will be assigned Virtua Compliance Training 2018-All Employees. Additional curriculum may be assigned based on your job. You are required to complete all assigned trainings that begin with Virtua Compliance Training To Open: 1. Click the blue Open Curriculum button 2. The Curriculum Progress page displays. From here, you can track your completion progress. 3. Click the blue View Details button to display the learning modules within the Curriculum. January

3 4. You are ready to select a module and begin a. Select the module you would like to complete and click the blue Activate button. b. Click Launch to open and begin the module. Tips When Completing Virtua Compliance Training All Employees: At the beginning of each module, a prompt will display. If you have completed Virtua Compliance Training in the past, select YES. You will be directed to a preassessment that will determine your subject area knowledge. If you pass the assessment, you will not have to review that particular section. If you do not pass, you will need to complete the section in full. If this is your first time completing Virtua Compliance training select NO. You will be directed to complete the modules in full. When selecting YES: Each subject matter area has an assigned selection of questions. You must answer 80% correct to pass. You will receive immediate feedback on your response (correct or incorrect as well as confirmation of the correct answer/s.) The assessment will autodirect you through each bank of questions. The subject area is noted in the top left corner. Tip! Many questions have multiple correct choices that when selected together, reflect the correct answer. The system will allow you to select the correct amount (be that a single answer or multiples). January

4 Navigation: 1. The Home Screen provides the following information: Titles of subject areas within the module Complete (Status bar is filled) In Progress (Status bar is partially filled) Ready (View and status bar are empty) Title Complete Ready In Progress Note: If you passed the assessment for a subject area, it will be represented with a grey View button. You cannot open the module as it is considered passed or completed. Passed assessment = Module complete Must complete module 2. Use your mouse or touchpad to scroll through the module. 3. The modules were designed to provide interaction. You MUST open and view all content to complete. Some things to look for include: Arrows and Plus/Minus signs (+/-) Icons Links (video, resource, etc.) Questions If you seem stuck and cannot move forward in the module, double-check you have accessed all the information. 5 Look for these cues that there is more information to review! 4. Once you have reviewed all the information, you can proceed. The Continue button will illuminate and you can scroll to learn more about the subject area. 5. As you proceed, note the blue progress bar at the top of the page as well as a blue arrow that appears at the bottom of the page (indicating there is more to view). January

6 6. When you have completed the subject area module, click the Return to Menu button to return to the Home Page. 7. Once all subject areas are complete, you can Exit out using the upper right corner X to close the window. You will return to the VLS. 8. View your completion status in the VLS. A percentage icon will track your completion status. A checkmark will indicate which modules have been completed. 9. When all modules within the curriculum are complete, you can view/print your certificate in the VLS. Go to My Transcript/Completed NOTE: Transcripts for completed courses can be accessed in the VLS and Virtua Works (Career/ Training). Certificates are located in the VLS only. January
