Manufacturing engineering support to production operations. 2. Formulates and implements machining process improvements with established targets and timing in support for the manufacturing deliverables. 3. Productivity improvements by carrying out machining time reductions via high speed machining, tooling optimization and process optimization. 4. Interface with Engineering to advise cost effective solutions and standards for manufacturability of products. 5. Raise AFEs related to machine tools and tooling. 6. Support implementation of special projects involving newly introduced products and specialized machine tools. 1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Aviation/Aeronautics/Astronautics), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Others), Engineering (Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or equivalent. 2. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations, Engineering Oil/Gas or equivalent. 3. Strong in high speed machining process. In depth knowledge of cutting tools selection, coatings, machine tool evaluation etc. 4. Good contacts with global and regional tooling and machine tool suppliers. 5. Understanding lean will be an advantage. Job Title: Mechanical Engineer 1. Responsible for sizing and layout of the ships machinery and equipments and design piping systems shaftings, etc. 2. Needs to interact with clients, classification and statutory bodies and vendors in the process of design. Perform calculations for ventilation systems, heat balance and other calculations necessary for mechanical drawings for vessels. 1. Bachelor s Degree in Engineering of Technology with minimum experience in Design Office/Shipyard or Oil & Gas industry. Should be conversant with Ship Classification Rules and IMO Rules. 2. Skills in PDMS/ Tribon / Foran and piping softwares will be required. 1
