1 Job Description Job title: Reports to: Essential Skills Tutor Head of Operations/ ES Quality Performance Manager Summary of Role To support with the development and implementation of skills and quality effectiveness strategies that will enable all programmes to be delivered in a manner that is consistent with our vision. To support, develop, implement and evaluate high quality performance measurement systems and processes, providing support, to an Essential Skills Quality Performance Manager enabling the achievement of all relevant KPI s, resulting in sectorleading practices and demonstrating the highest quality learning experience for all stakeholders. Business Duties To work within the guidance of the annual business plan To deliver the Educ8 Group vision To work in accordance with the Educ8 Group s values and ethos To work with Health and Safety policies and procedures of the Educ8 Group To demonstrate a commitment to ESDGC and reducing our carbon footprint To ensure all funding is administered accurately, efficiently and provides value for money To develop a culture of discipline in all that you do To positively contribute to VSP activities, meetings and best practice groups Team Responsibilities Essential Skills Co-ordination and Delivery/Resource Management 1. To effectively manage a caseload of learners working towards their Essential Skills qualifications ensuring outcomes are consistent with both timescales and achievement forecasts 2. To ensure all Essential Skills training is facilitated efficiently and effectively providing the highest quality learning experience and the highest professional service to learners 3. To assist with the implementation of quality monitoring systems and processes 4. To ensure all operational and quality Essential Skills processes are consistently followed in line with policy 5. To undertake monthly monitoring and tracking of Learners progress ensuring Learners are on target to achieve their learning goals/objectives 6. To ensure that our learning delivery models meet and exceeds our contractual obligations and ensure best practice

2 7. To provide mentoring, coaching and support to Learners to ensure they are fully equipped, trained and up to date to undertake their qualifications 8. To carry out CPD 9. To ensure all Essential Skills training programmes and courses have up to date, high quality training materials and resources that meet the Educ8 Group values. 10. To ensure all Essential Skills projects, programmes and courses are planned effectively and delivered on time, on target and achieve all project objectives and goals. 11. To effectively liaise with the Essential Skills QPM promoting effective channels of communication 12. To ensure that WEST is utilised with all learners to establish detailed diagnostics 13. To ensure all learners receive robust quality assurance feedback 14. To attend monthly standardisation meetings in order to ensure best practice is implemented across all assessment methods 15. To support the development of new assessment processes and techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality of learning with regards to new ES standards Individual Responsibilities 16. To maintain and develop knowledge of current products, services and funding streams. 17. To contribute to the Educ8 Group s Self-Assessment process. 18. To actively engage in Continuous Professional Development. 19. To take responsibility for your own appraisal, support and supervision. 20. To work within the guidelines, policies and procedures of the Educ8 Group at all times. 21.
