PRESENTACION International Human Resource is a key activity of any MNC, since the transfer of employees (managers) is a central means to coordinate MNCs domestic and foreign activities. In this course, we will first answer the question in which dimension International Human Resource differs from Domestic Human Resource. Then, we will focus on the management of international assignments. We will discuss challenges and pitfalls typical for each stage of the expatriation process. In a further chapter we will discuss the management of Multicultural Teams. After that, we will explore in which way types and differences of country cultures influence International Human Resource. Students will learn to select carefully among the concepts and instruments available to manage international assignments 3. Students will get insights in which way country culture affects International Human Resource. Especially, they will learn which management styles are typical of specific country cultures 4. Students will get basic insights how to lead multicultural teams. 3.
