2 Managing Your Employees Benefits Just Got Easier. Anthem has redesigned and enhanced our online benefits management system which is now named EmployerAccess. The new system retains many of the features that originally made it popular, plus it s added many new capabilities that will help you: Manage online enrollment Perform contract maintenance Handle benefit inquires Access reports Pay bills online Find forgotten passwords And more all from one web portal! 2

3 Navigation is so Logical, it Practically Thinks for Itself. EmployerAccess secure Web site is easy to follow. Just fill in the blanks and click on the tabs. The system guides you through transactions with prompts and alerts. And, thanks to the logically named and positioned tabs, you can easily find what you need. With EmployerAccess, now you can enjoy: Faster response times Enhanced content Greater efficiency 3

4 Discover Just How Easy it Really is. To see how quick and effortless EmployerAccess really is, let s do a couple of quick walk-throughs. Let s start at the Membership page. From here, you can: View pending activity View or change member information Add new subscribers View billing entities Change login information Just fill in the blanks or click on any of the navigation tabs or links, and you re off! With EmployerAccess newly designed, windows, drilling down for details is easy. 4

5 Review Group Benefits, All Neatly Grouped Together. Click on the Employer tab then click View Group Benefits View All tab and you can: View the products available to you by group number For medical products, click on View Benefits for even more product information 5

6 Locate Everything You Need to Know About an Employee s Coverage in Click-Quick Steps. On the Membership Page: Type in a member s name or ID number Then click on the Submit button 6

7 Welcome to Your One-Page Control Center for Coverage Management. Here are some examples of what you can access from this window: Get a complete overview of any employee s coverage Click on any tab to: Add coverage Change coverage Cancel subscriber coverage Change life benefits Edit personal information Add dependent Request ID cards Re-enroll 7

8 Now, Let s Try a Typical Enrollment. In most cases, there are four simple steps to an employee-only enrollment. 1. Enter the Employee s ID Number 2. Click Submit 3. Fill in the employee s demographic information 4. Click Continue and you re on your way. 8

9 Medical, Dental, Life and Vision Enrollment Information All on the Same Page. Now, select the right coverage for your new enrollee: Medical Dental Vision Basic & Supplemental Life They re all here including the life and vision options so everything s on one page. Bottom line: You save time and effort. 9

10 Assign Coverage - EmployerAccess Allows You to Choose From Available Options. Just specify the product your employees want to enroll in. If the employee selects an HMO, then enter the provider number. Then click Continue. 10

11 Just a Few More Clicks and the Enrollment s Complete. Now, indicate if the employee has any other coverage, including any prior coverage and/or Medicare. 11

12 See Where You re Going, Know Where You ve Been. It s easy to know where you are when processing any transaction. Just check the status bar. The status bar will always tell you what steps have been taken and what still needs to be done. 12

13 Review and Pay Your Bill, All Online! Want to review your billing? Just click the Billing tab and select from the options. You can: Review and download invoices by billing period View invoice details by clicking on invoice numbers Pay bills online by clicking the Pay Online Now button 13

14 A Billing Time Machine. EmployerAccess Payment History page gives you an easy handle on billing. Review, download and print any or all invoices and payments from the past 24 months. 14

15 EmployerAccess Reporting Made Easy! Reports available at your fingertips. Just click the Reports tab to access reports and other information: Pending Activity Activity Report Provider Finder Subscriber/Dependent Listing Life Tool Next, let s check out the Subscriber/Dependent Listing and its capabilities. 15

16 View Subscriber/Dependent Listing by Groups. Like to know all the details about your employees? Just go to the Subscriber/Dependent Listing, where you can: Review all employees by group Find employee names and addresses Look up rates Check on dependent information Review contract types And much more! The other good news- You can also sort this data and download these listings in Excel or Comma Delimited file formats. 16

17 Saves Your Work as You Go And Reports on What s Pending. EmployerAccess Pending Activity page gives you yet another handy report for managing your workflow. Quick clicks let you immediately: List and review all employee files and the tasks that are pending Easily amend employees files Best of all if you work on a file and don t finish, all your work is automatically saved and listed onscreen. Now that s insurance! 17

18 Know As You Go. EmployerAccess Activity Report is yet another way the system lets you see all transactions as they are processed and completed. Plus you can easily track and confirm who s completed which transactions, and when. So the duplication of work is easily eliminated! 18
