1 HeartKids Limited Position Description Position: Key Skills Required: Fundraising Manager Demonstrated experience in growing diverse revenue streams and achieving high ROI targets Strong strategic planning skills across donor and community fundraising programs High level expertise in developing customer journey strategy and management through CRM database, across multiple channels and multiple relationship managers. Experience in planning and executing campaigns, including managing small campaign teams of internal staff and/or external suppliers to meet deadlines. Collaborative, leadership skills to take the lead and direct or guide other employees when necessary. Ability to work autonomously while maintaining regular internal communications/updates with the manager, team and colleagues. Exceptional levels of presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal along with strong interpersonal skills A strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Demonstrated creativity and experience of generating new fundraising streams and continuous improvement across existing fundraising programs Able to jump from creative to analytical side of fundraising and use data to demonstrate why ideas sound, set campaign KPI s, monitor campaign progress and provide reports and recommendations. Can anticipate risks in advance and provide solutions to mitigate/manage risks. Maintains composure whilst responding quickly in difficult situations. Flexibility to vary work hours to meet work demands. Demonstrate behaviours that uphold HeartKids culture and values

2 Essential Qualifications: Time Commitment Required: Reports to: Tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent experience in business, marketing or other relevant field. Competent in use of CRM database Competent in Microsoft Office 365 Full Time General Manager Fundraising, Marketing and Community Relations. Key Relationships: HeartKids Staff, HeartKids Board and Support Advisory Committee as appropriate, volunteers, HeartKids community, key partners, supporters, donors and all other stakeholders Location: Sydney or Melbourne The Purpose of the Position: Generation of diversified revenue growth for HeartKids through the acquisition, conversion, retention and upgrade of individual donors through direct marketing campaigns (appeals and regular giving), high value/major donor fundraising, bequests, community fundraising and key national fundraising and awareness campaigns (Sweetheart Day, Super Boss Day, and Two Feet and a Heart Beat). To champion relationship fundraising at HeartKids through customer journeys that support a Customer First philosophy, gives our supporters exceptional experiences and drive loyalty. Key Responsibilities Program Planning and Implementation (10%) Work with GM to develop and deliver fundraising strategies for individual giving that align to the national strategy and deliver on fundraising targets Work with Social Media and Website Manager to align fundraising campaigns with a digital first approach that positions HeartKids as a leading digital fundraising organisation Monitor and share market insights and trends to inform innovation and continuous improvement Develop appropriate annual income budgets and targets, commensurate with best practice and current internal and external trends; and meet these targets Revenue Generation / Customer Journey (55%) Develop and implement fundraising campaigns for donor acquisition, conversion, retention and upgrade across donor direct marketing and community fundraising. Work as part of the Sweetheart Day, Super Boss Day, and Two Feet and a Heart Beat campaign teams to develop campaign strategy, set customer journey and deliver on community fundraising and donor direct marketing to meet campaign targets. Develop and champion a Customer First philosophy across HeartKids to ensure a high standard of donor stewardship and satisfaction across all individual fundraising. As part of a broader fundraising and marketing team, support the overall achievement of HeartKids national fundraising and brand goals Work with operational admin staff to ensure all donations are processed, receipted and recorded in CRM in a timely manner

3 Integration & Organisational engagement (20%) Engage divisional staff in the planning and delivery of campaigns to ensure integration between national and state specific activity so targets are met. Reporting and analysis (10%) Maintain relevant systems, processes and database Provide regular updates via campaign dashboard, and reports and recommendations on all campaigns Ensure CRM is kept up to date and accurate. Compliance (5%) Conduct fundraising programs within HeartKids policy and relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks (including the Fundraising Appeals Act, privacy legislation, PCI legislation, OH&S, workplace relations, etc). Performance Goals (KPIs) Achieving revenue budgets for accountable fundraising programs and campaigns Degree to which the Manager contributes to revenue profitability Growth in revenue in all key campaigns Fundraising campaign ROI Donor acquisition, conversion and retention rates Ensure all regular and ad-hoc reports are accurate and submitted to the Manager on time agreed template format Passion and engagement; Progress, efficiency and responsiveness to change; Leadership (staff survey) Models HeartKids Values (staff survey)
