1 Online Inductions & Training Sub Contractor Instructions March 2018

2 Your Sub Contractor Portal Once your company has been setup on MSite by the Principle contractor on site, you will be able to login to your portal shown below. Step 1 Start the Invite Process Select this option to invite employees for them to complete their own information on the induction form before they sit the online training.

3 Sending an Invite Once you have completed the employees contact details you will be able to invite them to the relevant site or project using the window shown below. Step 2 Provide their contact details Add the employees name and contact to send invites. Alternatively adding the employee mobile number will send an invite via SMS* Alternatively you can send bulk invites Click the menu and add one address per line to send multiple invites for large groups of employees going to the same site. *If SMS has been enabled If not this option will be greyed out

4 Completing the Invite Upon adding the employee details you will be prompted to complete the final step of the Invite process. 1. Update Profile Select your employees: Role Trade Site they will be working on. 2. Update Training This will automatically be enabled for sites requiring an induction booking. 3. Book Site Induction Can be completed yourself if you know when your employee is going to site or leave it for them. 4. Right To Work Confirm your employee is able to work in the UK. 5. Click Save This will send the invite.

5 What if they aren t going to a Site? On some occasions you may want your employees to complete the companywide induction without sending them to site. With this in mind, complete the steps below: 1. Personal Details Place of Work / Site Leave this Blank 2. Update Training Select Update Training followed by Company Wide 3. Site Orientation You will not be required to book an induction, leave this blank. 4. Right To Work Confirm your employee is able to work in the UK as normal. 5. Click Save This will send the invite. Remember Employees must be re-invited when they are going to a site for site specific training / orientation.

6 Monitoring Progress You can monitor your employee s progress at any time via the View Progress button. Status & Induction Booking Here you can see these employees have completed training & booked a site orientation. Example Status Each step of the process has its own status, shown in the Example Status. This is so you can easily see the progress of your employees.

7 Send Employees To Other Sites You can easily invite Employees to other sites. Navigate to Invite Existing Employees This can be accessed by the bar on the left or by clicking Invite Existing Employees on the Welcome Screen. Click Invite Follow the booking process again any training already completed will not be repeated.

8 Troubleshooting & Support Please see below for common resolutions: Not received an invite 1. Confirm that the Contact Number / address supplied is correct. 2. Amend where required. 3. If still not received, check spam/junk folder in s. Video not playing 1. Check that the device is connected to the internet 2. Confirm which browser is being used. This can be done by going to 3. If your browser is different from Google Chrome / Internet Explorer 11+ and experiencing difficulties we recommend you give one of these a try. Unable to Login 1. If the employee is unable to login, it could be the invite has expired. Invites are valid until the morning the induction is booked for. 2. To check this navigate to View Progress in Training to take a look. 3. Resend the invite where required.
