2 PRIMARY PURPOSE OF ROLE Why does the role exist? This position exists to assist the Billing Team Leader with co-ordinating the connection process as well as maintaining a complete billing cycle. The role is a high level communication role between retailers and contractors to ensure customer satisfaction within required timeframes. This role assists in the collation of the monthly Commercial report ensuring connection timeframes and deadlines are reported on as well as adhoc reporting as required. Requirement to travel intra/interstate? Yes No KEY RESULT AREA ACCOUNTABILITIES What are the key roles this position interacts with on a regular basis? 1. Leadership Build and maintain relationships with key interface groups, internal and external stakeholders. Act as the Billing Team leader in full capacity when and as required. 2. Operations Accurate processing of data entry into databases and work templates. Providing end to end Connection and Billing functions for TGN/VRE and any other projects through Gentrack/Maximo as required. Provide day to day functions to ensure TGN/EVN complies with the relevant codes. Ensure all databases have relevant information to produce daily, weekly and monthly reports. Produce weekly and monthly customer and retailer invoices. Supply services to third parties as requested under TGN s service provision contracts in a timely manner. Reconciling the gas usage between deliveries to gas gates and usage on networks (Allocation process) Coordinate and prioritise work schedules and forward work programmes to deliver construction and operational tasks in accordance with agreed KPIs. Reschedule planned tasks as required. Maintain and file all paperwork involved in the process of getting customers connected. Template: BMSDOC , Version 4.0 Page 2 of 7

3 Ensure all works orders in Maximo are updated and completed by the appropriate departments. Complete daily, weekly, monthly work plans as required. Build & maintain professional relationships with internal staff and external parties. Present monthly connection figures and timeframes to Billing Team leader for contribution to the monthly report Ability to schedule and prioritise duties and work unsupervised. Provide assistance to Billing Team Leader as and when required Provide support to the Tas Gas Network s 1800 natural gas connections number and . Processing of customer applications for TGN & EVN. Process work instructions through Maximo for delivery to maintenance and construction crews. Ensure completed connections documentation is received and distributed to required parties within agreed timeframes. Processing of commercial applications from receipt to issuing for construction including preparation of work packs. Issue prepared work parks including DBYD & ROP (if required) to all regions: North, North West & South. Following up to ensure completed connections documentation is received and distributed too required parties within the agreed time frames. Ensuring ROP completion (on and off maintenance) is prepared accurately in a timely fashion. Day to day liaison with retailers & contractors. Accurate data processing in Maximo & Gentrak. Co-ordinate small to medium connections with NG retailers. High level of appropriate communication with natural gas retailers. 3. Internal: Tas Gas business units and Enwave entities External: Retailers, Customers, Contractors, Gas fitters, local Councils and any other 3 rd party as necessary QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE What are the essential post-secondary qualifications, industry experience and technical expertise required to meet the key requirements of the role? Qualifications / Memberships: Knowledge / Experience: Minimum Year 12 with strong results in English and Mathematics Higher education qualifications in a business discipline will be advantageous At least 1 years experience in the area of processing connection and billing area with a sound understanding of basic accounting functions Working knowledge of a recognised Asset System (Maximo and Gentrak) A work together attitude that is highly customer service focussed.
