3 When logging on to the new Butterfield Online for the first time, you will be required to follow a few steps. Enter you Username and Password. You will be prompted to change your password. You will be presented with the Terms and Conditions, read and Accept. 3

4 Upon successfully logging in, your landing page will be the online Dashboard, where you can view a snapshot of your finances, navigate through Butterfield Online Banking begin a transaction. If you are logging in and forgot your password, you can now reset your password. Select Forgot Password. Enter your Username and Date of Birth. 4

5 An will be sent to your address on file with the bank, which contains a Verification Code. Enter the six-digit code provided in the . Then create a new password. Take note of the password requirements when setting your new password. 5

6 Re-enter the password. Review the Terms and Conditions, Read and Accept. The Dashboard page will load. 6

7 0If you scroll to the bottom of the landing page, there is the Activity Log. This tool allows you to review details of previously performed transactions. Same day transactions will automatically display.prior activity can be viewed in three day increments, using the search tool. The Account Summary provides a snapshot of your financial position at Butterfield, showing both your assets and debt. Your Spending indicates your total spend within the last 90 days. 7

8 Recent Activity captures the last (2) two transactions in the account selected. In My Accounts you can view all of your accounts and their respective balances. Select the account type to view your associated accounts. Service Request keeps you aware of the status of requests submitted to the bank. Icons found under the Payments menu allow you to transfer money, pay bills, access your payee templates, manage your beneficaries and payees, and to view your standing instructions. **Note: You will also be able to access the payment menu, using the payments option found at thetop of the Dashboard. 8

9 Quick Access gives you the ability to click once and open your account activity, cheque book request, and download statements. Upcoming Payments advises you of any future dated transactions or standing instructions that are pending. You can also Set Standing Instructions from here. You can view your accounts by:. 1) Selecting the left menu option at the top left corner of the screen. 9

10 From the menu list, you can select Accounts. 2) You can also view your accounts from My Accounts on the Dashboard page. 3) Recent Activity also gives a brief overview of your accounts. To pay bills you must create a Payee. From the Payments section on the Dashboard, select Manage Beneficiaries and Payees. 10

11 After selecting Billers, you can then select Add New Payee on the bottom right of the screen. Select the category that your Biller falls under. Select a Payee. 11

12 Type into the Payee Account Number field the account number related to your Payee. Select Add to save the Payee template Select Confirm. 12

13 The Payee has now been saved as a template. You can now pay your bill. You have two options to make Bill Payments. Select Pay Bills from the Payments area on the Dashboard. You can also select Payments from the top of the screen. Then select Pay Bills. 13

14 Select a Payee Name. Select the Biller Account Number. Select the Currency. 14

15 Enter the payment Amount. Select the account that you want to Pay From. The default selection is set to Transfer Now. If you select the Transfer Later option, select the Transfer Date that you want the payment to be released. 15

16 Select Pay. Select Confirm and you have sucessfully completed the Pay Bill option. Pre-set beneficiaries and templates are helpful for recurring transactions. You can manage your templates from the Payments section on the Dashboard. Select Manage Beneficiaries and Payees. 16

17 Beneficiaries is selected by default.. Next, select Add New Beneficiary. For Account related transactions, select Bank Account as the beneficiary type. Select OK. Type in the Beneficary Name for the person or Company that you are creating the template for. 17

18 Select the type of transaction: Internal, Domestic, Wire transfer. Type in the Beneficiary Account Number. Type in the Beneficiary Account Name. This may be different from the Beneficiary Name. 18

19 Type in the Nickname for your template. Select Add. Check to ensure your information is correct and select Confirm. 19

20 Your template has been created successfully. Transfer funds to the Beneficiary that you just created. Go to the Payments section the Dashboard. Select Transfer Money. Select Existing Beneficiary which is pre-selected by default. 20

21 The Existing Beneficiary that you have is for Internal transfers, which is already selected by default. Select Internal to continue. Select the Beneficiary. Select the template Nickname. 21

22 The information regarding the selected template will populate. Type the Transfer Amount. Type the Beneficiary Reference. 22

23 Select Transfer. Select Confirm to complete your Internal Transfer successfully. If you do not have an Existing Beneficiary and you want to make a transfer, select Transfer Money from Payments on the Dashboard. 23

24 Select One-time Payment. This allows you to complete transfers without setting a template first. You can make an Internal, Domestic or Wire Transfer. To make a Domestic Payment, select Domestic. Type the Beneficiary Account Number. 24

25 Select the Bank you want to transfer to. Type the Beneficiary Address. Select the account that you wish to Transfer From. 25

26 Select the currency and enter the amount you want to transfer. Type a Beneficiary Reference. Select Pay to complete your Domestic Transfer. 26

27 When sending a Wire, go to the Payments section on the Dashboard. Select Transfer Money. Select One-time Payment. Select Wire. 27

28 Under Beneficiary Account Number, select either IBAN or Account Number. Type the Beneficiary Account Name. Type in your SWIFT code and select verify. 28

29 The information for the Beneficiary bank will populate. Select the account you want to Transfer From, and enter an amount that you want to transfer. Type the Beneficiary Address. 29

30 You can use the description lines 1-5 for any other information you need to add. Select Pay. Select Confirm. 30

31 You will receive a Verification Code to your on file. Enter the code and select Submit. You have completed your Wire Transfer successfully. There are two ways to create a Standing Instruction payment. On the Dashboard you can select View Standing Instructions. 31

32 Also from the Dashboard in the Upcoming Payments section you can select Set Standing Instructions. Select the type of transaction that you want to Set Standing Instructions for. Select the Beneficiary that you want to set the Standing Instruction for. 32

33 Select the template name and the information will populate. Select the From Account. Select the Currency and enter the Transfer Amount. 33

34 Select your Transfer Frequency. Weekly, Fortnightly, Monthly, Bi-Monthly, Quarterly. Select Frist Transfer Date from. Select Last Transfer Date. 34

35 Type your Beneficiary Reference. Select Setup. Select Confirm. 35

36 Select Confirm again to verify your instructions. To Stop Standing Instructions that are already set up go to the Dashboard and select View Standing Instructions. Your existing Standing Instructions will appear. 36

37 Select the options menu and select Stop. The Stop Standing Instructions window will appear. Select Stop. To confirm the instruction, select Stop again. 37

38 You have successfully stopped your Standing Instructions. To request a draft, go to the Payments section on the Dashboard and select Transfer Money. Select Request Demand Draft. 38

39 For local drafts in Bermuda dollars (BMD) for Bermuda users or in Cayman dollars (KYD) for Cayman users, select Domestic. For drafts that will be sent out of Bermuda or Cayman, select International. For each Transfer Type, you must add a Draft Beneficiary. Select Add Draft Beneficiary. 39

40 Type the Beneficiary Name. Select either Domestic or International. For International Draft you will need the Beneficiary Address. 40

41 Select Add. Select Confirm to complete the Demand Draft Beneficiary set up. You have successfully completed the template for your draft. 41

42 To order a draft for collection, go to the Payments section on the Dashboard, select Transfer Money. Select the Transfer Type. Select the Beneficiary Name template. 42

43 The template information will automatically populate. Select the Currency and enter an Amount. Select Issue to complete your Draft Request. You can Open Accounts online. To open an account, click on the left navigation menu at the top of the page. 43

44 Select Accounts. Select Open Chequing and Savings Account. Select the Account Type that you want to open. 44

45 Select the Account Class. In order to complete the request, you must read and select I agree to Terms and Conditions. The account will also appear on the online banking by default. If you do not to view the account online, select NO. 45

46 Select Confirm to complete your new Account. You can order cheque books online. To do so, select Cheque Book Request, under Quick Access on the Dashboard. Select the Chequing Account that you are requesting cheque books for. Click Proceed. 46

47 Select the Type of Cheque Book. Select the Number of Cheque Books. Select the Delivery Location. 47

48 Select Submit. Your cheque books will be ready for collection in three working days. 48
