Faculty Paige Hilton, SHRM-CP joined Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in August With over 20 years of experience as a strategic HR leader, Paige is credited with building best-in-class organizations and acting as the catalyst for HR initiatives designed to achieve organizational goals and objective. Prior to joining Gallagher, Paige worked for 15 years as a corporate HR manager. As a senior HR consultant, Paige provides full human resource support performing such duties as building an HR infrastructure, compensation planning and design, employee handbooks, recruitment solutions, performance management, compliance, training and development, and more. In her role as senior HR consultant, Paige s primary focus is helping organizations transform HR into a valuable function that achieves long-term organization business goals. Paige s strong analytical skills and commitment to excellent customer service makes her a trusted advisor to both clients and her Gallagher team. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Stephen F. Austin State University. She is certified as a Professional in Human Resource, is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and an active member of HR Houston. Jess Sweere is an attorney in the firm of Cross, Gunter, Witherspoon & Galchus, P.C., whose practice focuses on labor relations, employment, commercial, corporate, transportation and governmental/municipal law. Jess entered the practice of law after 18 years as a manager in the trucking industry, working in both union and non-union environments. Jess is the chairman of the Academics Plus Charter School Board of Trustees and also serves on the board of the Maumelle Foundation for Education, Inc. He is an active member of the American Bar Association (including the Labor and Employment section), Rotary Club of Maumelle, Central Arkansas Human Resources Association, Arkansas Bar Association, Pulaski County Bar Association, Transportation Law Association and the Arkansas Trucking Association. Jess has been named a Rising Star by Mid-South Super Lawyers for Jess received his undergraduate degree in transportation from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, where he was associate research editor of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Law Review and the Law Review Member of the Year ( ). Theresa Worman is a recognized compensation expert with more than 20 years in the industry. She oversees business development and works to bring Compdata s consulting services and survey resources to employers nationwide. Throughout her career, Theresa has routinely provided her expertise to audiences at seminars and webinars for ASHHRA, WorldatWork and state hospital associations. Executives, leadership teams and HR departments all benefit from her insights. Theresa shares her knowledge with journalists from media outlets across the country, and has been quoted by The Wall Street Journal, Inc. and Money magazines, and numerous newspapers. She has been published in WorldatWork s Workspan magazine on multiple occasions.

4 Conference Information All educational sessions will be held in the Rock Theater. Sponsors will be located in the Show Barn Hall and can start setting up on Thursday, October 18 at 10:30 a.m. Sponsor placement will be first come, first served. Conference registration for attendees and sponsors will begin on Thursday, October 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the Show Barn Hall. Continuing Education All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance for Thursday and Friday. Continuing education has been applied for through the HR Certification Institute. Lodging The AHHRA Fall Conference will be held at The Winthrop Rockefeller Institute at Petit Jean Mountain, 1 Rockefeller Drive, Morrilton, Arkansas A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved for the night of Thursday, October 18, with room rates starting at $ Reservations can be made by calling (501) or (866) When reserving a sleeping room, please mention that you are attending the Arkansas Healthcare Human Resources Association Fall Conference. All sleeping rooms are non-smoking. Directions to the Meeting Facility and Lodging from Little Rock From Interstate 40 take exit 108 at Morrilton. Take a left at the light onto Highway 9 Bypass and continue south toward Oppelo. Turn right onto Highway 154 and travel 7.3 miles to the top of Petit Jean Mountain. At the top, turn right at Winrock Drive and continue four miles. When you come to a closed gate, turn left onto Montgomery Trace for one mile. Take a right onto Rockefeller Drive at the rock sign and continue one mile until you reach another rock sign. Yield to the right and travel straight until you arrive at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute. The main lobby/check-in is located between the historic grain silos. Registrants who cancel the day of the program, or fail to attend, must pay the entire fee. Registrants unable to attend may send an alternate. If the alternate is not a member, the non-member registration fee will be required. Registrations that are faxed are subject to the same cancellation policy.
