We re looking for a dynamic new team member to join our growing team to support the development of a suite of digital innovation products and projects across the organisation. You will be exposed to the challenges and opportunities faced by the justice sector at an unprecedented time of change and development. You will work alongside leaders in the drive to fundamentally improve the justice ecosystem. You will be part of delivering meaningful, system-level change, and designing novel approaches to improving access to legal assistance and delivering legal help to underserved groups at scale. Undertaking some of the most cutting edge work at the intersection of justice and technology, our multidisciplinary innovation team works on a range of projects that aim to scale Justice Connect s reach and impact and improve the experience of people seeking legal help and of the lawyers that help them. This role will be focussed on leading several key collaborative projects aiming to scale the reach and impact of Justice Connect s services for individuals, in particular our Public Interest Law Service and our Court Programs. You will enjoy working across programs and teams, helping to build and sustain momentum in projects. You will thrive both working in an interdisciplinary and collaborative environment, and as an autonomous worker. You will have experience running projects and working with internal and external stakeholders and contractors to get results quickly. This is a unique role, representing an extraordinary opportunity to gain real-world, applied experience in design thinking, human centred design and evaluation at the intersection of law, technology and design. Key responsibilities The Innovation Project Lead cross organisation, will be responsible for leading and undertaking key project work on several significant digital innovation projects at Justice Connect, including overseeing the technical and design side of setting up an online legal clinic, overseeing the delivery of new areas of Justice Connect s website to connect help-seekers with self-help resources, and working with programs to create interactive self-help resources for people who are not eligible for access to one-on-one assistance from a lawyer, but cannot afford to pay for legal assistance The role will work closely with our in-house developers, our external web developers, our communications team, and with internal subject matter experts. 3 Innovation Project Lead
