2 INTRODUCTION Jigsaw Enterprises, LLC (Jigsaw), is an engineering and construction company, located in Pikeville, Kentucky, that has a long history comprised of a diverse portfolio of successfully completed projects. Our company provides engineering, surveying, mapping, right-of-way, environmental, energy, and landforming services to telecommunications, public utility, transportation, energy and commercial sectors. Jigsaw is experienced in both the public\private and design\build formats of project delivery. Our origins began in the mining industry in Since that time, our services have expanded to serve a wide array of customers across a broad spectrum of fields. We strive to meet the needs of our customers while keeping safety at the forefront of our operations. Jigsaw is recognized for delivering quality workmanship and the ability to deliver projects on time. Our team performs project related functions from conception to completion and all points in between. Our cross-functional teams can provide the qualified and experienced personnel necessary to complete projects in a safe, efficient, timely manner. Our certified fiber optic technicians (CFOT) are certified specialists in Testing and Maintenance (CFOS/T), Fiber Optics Splicing (CFOS/S), and Outside Plant Cabling (CFOSO). Additionally, each field tech holds all required OSHA certifications. These technicians are led by a management team with over 100 years of combined experience. With deep roots in Eastern Kentucky, we bring an intuitive understanding of the unique culture of our region and work every day to bring a balance between productive work and harmony with local citizens and property owners. Our company s goal is to create and maintain a great working relationship with all community stakeholders. 4 ENGINEERING SERVICES: Jigsaw Enterprises, LLC offers a wide array of engineering services to our clients including studies, planning, design, and construction management services. Our staff has successfully completed projects addressing the requirements of various federal, state and local governmental agencies. Examples of these include Corps of Engineers Section 404 and NW 49 permits, KYTC encroachment permits, KY Division of Water KPDES permits, and EPA air quality and water quality permits. Civil engineering design projects include telecom, roads, ponds, culverts, bridges, fill structures, commercial/residential building sites, and subdivisions. Within these projects, Jigsaw commonly functions as construction manager as well as construction contractor. Our company commonly utilizes design/build methods. We provide hands-on knowledgeable engineering staff to our customers. We strive to meet the needs of our clients through open communication, on-site availability, and professionalism. Fiber Optic System Engineering: Jigsaw performs cost estimates, route design, field route selection, right-of-way acquisition, detailed field engineering, cable placement drawings, plans and specifications, construction staking, construction inspection, and as-built drawings. Environmental Services: Our company has extensive experience in all areas of environmental services, including feasibility studies, route analysis and selection, environmental assessments, permitting, licensing and construction compliance. We are familiar with the necessity of simultaneous multi-jurisdictional permitting and offer our clients timely, accurate services. Right-of-Way Services: Jigsaw has on-staff land acquisition agents who recognize the need of satisfied landowners while adhering to the construction schedule and budget. Our land team has over 30 years of experience in property and right of way acquisition, title research and analysis, and negotiations. Surveying Services: Our in-house surveying department utilizes traditional total station surveying, as well as, real time kinematic (RTK) and static global positioning system (GPS) techniques. Jigsaw provides project stakeout, monitoring, topographic, control, and location surveys. Our staff is skilled with laser and GPS machine control. We strive to provide the best product to our clients using the latest technology.
