4 What is Leadership? Leadership is an active, living process. It is rooted in character, forged by experiences, and communicated by example. 6 Relational Leadership Relational Leadership Refers to a model or perspective that focuses on the idea that leadership effectiveness has to do with the ability of the leader to create positive relationships within the organization Komives, S.
