Finishing of civil works will last until early Summer of The quality of works is satisfactory so far, but significant challenges are met on the Gombori Telavi section in a severe landslide area. Most probably, this section will require continuous attention and maintenance, and proper warning and immediate repairs need to be in place as no permanent solution has been found so far to overcome this issue. It is too early yet to see the effects of the road safety activities on the region Some immediate recommendations are being put in place on the newly constructed road but additional measures will need to be designed for the remainder of the network.
