2 Role description Swanswell has a long history of delivering excellent training both internally and externally. We re passionate about sharing our knowledge and expertise with others and we have an internal training team who are committed to delivering training that s fun, engaging, interactive and most importantly, that works. This new role has been created to build on our success to-date and help us to develop our training even further. The role is about designing and delivering training that is best in class. You ll deliver our training programme, which includes undertaking quality assurance of our training. You ll be someone who is passionate about designing and delivering training to help others to maximise their skills and achieve their full potential, ultimately helping Swanswell to do more of what it does well for more people. We need someone who thrives on working in a busy environment and is able to consistently communicate effectively. You ll be able to work as part of a team, as well as on your own, on key projects. Salary This is a full-time post earning up to 25,000, depending on experience. Hours of work This post is for a 37 hour week. You ll need to be able to adapt to meet the needs of the organisation, and some evening or weekend work may be required, as well as working away from home from time to time. Swanswell offers flexible working, subject to the needs of the business. Annual leave Swanswell s holiday entitlement is 36 days per holiday year (28 days plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays). This will be a pro rata amount for part time and fixed term contract employees. Transport The role is based at our head office in Rugby, but travel to our other offices and to external agencies will be needed. A current driving licence and own transport would be an advantage. 2

3 Key activities and responsibilities Develop our menu of training by designing and writing training courses for both internal and external use Consistently review and update existing programmes Organise an annual training programme. Deliver our training programme in a variety of venues across the UK. Monitor and report on training delivery and outcomes including and impact of learning and training key performance indicators Co-ordinate and deliver the Swanswell welcome event for new team members 3
