4 Analysis of the results (after this research) 1/3 The average age of Italian workers is in line with that of Europe but is much higher in a middle management position should be strongly reciprocated within years. 5 Analysis of the results (after this research) 2/3 The recruitment will denote serious differences between demand and supply of skills, both because the candidates do not possess them and because it is not easy to find the required profile. In any case, it is difficult to find young people to be included in the specialized training because our sector is unattractive. We have a few members in our courses to address and there is little inclination to mobility in the Italian territory. Even in Italy, the young hires have a mentoring path for experienced workers. However, there is no real training plan with "Mentors" qualified. We cannot compare the coaching to an operator with a "Mentorship activities". Many companies have difficult with assisting staff when using fixed-term contracts or temporary workers, because the energy spent for the training does not bear fruit.

6 Analysis of the results (after this research) 3/3 In Italy, still assume personal for the "middle managers" from a high school diploma. Abroad, however, they have post-secondary programs for higher technical Education already active (For example master craftsmen, further and specialist vocational education, higher VET programs, BTS and DUT in France). In Italy, analyzing the specific skills required, stand out production and safety as the European average. The survey on "training needs in the paper industry," reveals that the most obvious partners for training and recruitment in Italy is the Industrial Association while abroad is the public school.

7 In evidence The paper industry must be defended technical impoverishment of incoming workers. In 10 years, we will have to replace an important % of workers. The European training, while maintaining the specific local characteristics, has to ensure the movement of people within the community and then the educational level differences at the end of the training courses must be eliminated. 8 Recommendations 1/2 It is necessary to implement a promotion campaign for the paper industry in order to persuade young people to choose our productive sector (need I believe also for all other industrial sectors). We need to encourage mobility of students in their domestic and European territory. It becomes necessary to consider how to insert the dual training in the paper industry.

9 Recommendations 2/2 It is necessary to establish for training to give a high qualification to the mentor. Defining what must be their training plans assigned, teaching techniques, evaluation of youth coaching. It should evaluate the need to start post-secondary programs for higher technical Education already that can meet the national needs. We will have to create a network for the development of European teachers in order to collaborate in the drafting of educational plans and to create opportunities Technical Update.
