4 Vacuum technology Vacuum cups FIPA offers the perfect combination of vacuum cup designs and materials for every sector. Largest global range of different vacuum cups available in every conceivable diameter, manufactured from the most common materials and adapted to a wide range of different applications. Vacuum components FIPA offers a comprehensive product assortment for creating a complete vacuum system. From vacuum generators with different vacuum pumps or ejectors to controllers, valves, piping and a host of different connecting elements for a perfect connection of the vacuum cups. 4

5 Gripper technology Gripper components Wide selection of angular and parallel grippers in different sizes with variable gripping force settings for perfect adaptation to your requirements. Also available with optional sensors and customised gripper jaws. Gripper base plates and quick-change systems with different adapters, customised to suit any handling system. Extrusion systems and mounting elements that can be adapted to the permissible weight as well as the required degree of stability specified by the customer. Air nippers, needle grippers, ID grippers, all other active gripper elements and the entire suction cup assortment are easy to integrate in the gripper equipment. 5

6 Gripper design In addition to the standard gripper systems based on the various S, M and X-Line extrusion systems, a wide range of aluminium systems can be adapted to meet customer requirements. Low weight, high degree of stability, suitable for food applications and streamlined dimensions are just a few of the advantages offered by gripper systems designed by PA laser-forming (3D printing). Looking for enhanced gripping dynamics, a system with a long life and exceptional stability? Then you should also consider plate-based gripper systems manufactured from aluminium or fibre-reinforced plastic. Three different ways to commission your FIPA gripper: > > Consulting from FIPA, then plan and design the gripper system yourself. FIPA supplies all the necessary gripper components. > > FIPA designs the grippers using 3D-CAD and provides you with all the necessary elements and instructions for assembly.
