6 Committed to our communities We believe in putting people and the community first. That s why FUJIFILM Diosynth and its employees are proud to have donated tens of thousands of dollars to good causes, including the American Heart Association, Go Red, Wounded Warriors, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots and Salvation Army s Angel Tree. 7 My work at FUJIFILM Diosynth is satisfying and rewarding knowing that I am part of a team that is involved in life-saving and life improving medicines. Melissa Quick Head of Program Management Having worked at FUJIFILM Diosynth since 2003 I have gained invaluable experience working in multiple areas across the organization. In each of my roles, FUJIFILM Diosynth have given me opportunities to lead, and empowered me to make decisions which have allowed me to gain skills that are not easily taught. My first position at the company was as a Research Specialist, an entry level Scientist position in the Process Development labs. After working in this role for three years, I had the opportunity to transfer one of the projects I helped develop into the manufacturing facility, allowing me to gain experience in the manufacturing environment. It was a great experience and, after exploring opportunities that would allow me to continue in the manufacturing space, I was offered a role as a Manufacturing Coordinator. This role allowed me the opportunity to understand the day to day activities required to run a multi-product manufacturing facility. Following this role, FUJIFILM Diosynth provided me with another opportunity within the Quality Assurance group where I was able to spend three years becoming a subject matter expert in multiple disciplines including deviations, analytical method qualification and validations and stability. My passion for the past three and a half years has been in the Project Management group where I have been able to use all of the experience I have gained at FUJIFILM Diosynth to allow me to successfully partner with our customers to meet their product needs by leading their program from early phase through to late phase and commercial supply. In the last year and a half I have had the opportunity to lead our talented group of nine Program Managers as the Head of Program Management at our North Carolina site. This role allows me to maintain my close relationships and daily interactions with team members and customers as well as serve as a member on the site s Senior Leadership Team.
