Their excited, motivated and looking to be challenged and to contribute. On-boarding a new Employee What We Don t Want To Happen (De-motivators and other Horror Stories ) Supervisor has a meeting first thing No time to meet the employee or introduce them to the group No work space assigned Reading Safety Manuals/SOP for 8 hours strait Job-shadowing someone who didn t plan for it and isn t too happy about it 2
