5 Keynote Speaker Fredrikson & Byron Speakers ASSOCIATE JUSTICE DAVID L. LILLEHAUG Minnesota Supreme Court Employment Law Issues in the Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Lillehaug will discuss his experience going directly from private practice to the Minnesota Supreme Court, and will touch on the Court s most recent cases of interest to employers and employees. Justice David Lillehaug was appointed to the Minnesota Supreme Court by Governor Mark Dayton in June He came to the Court directly from private practice as a shareholder at Fredrikson & Byron, P.A. He had extensive litigation experience in white-collar and regulatory defense, internal investigations and construction law. He also represented prominent officials in high-profile constitutional cases. His prior experience includes service as United States Attorney, the federal government s chief prosecutor and civil lawyer for Minnesota.
