KEY RESULT AREAS 1 Ensures the local implementation of Group Brand & Communications strategies Provides regional insight into further brand developments (from concept to execution) Collates /coordinates research/insights on clients, internal account teams feedback and the market to support Group Communications Manager in identifying and recommending corporate messaging strategy and opportunities to drive market positioning and competitive differentiation for Asia. Quickly display ability to understand and articulate benefits of Isentia s complex B2B products and service suite, to write engaging copy and drive the creative process around articulating Isentia products and services. Delivers internal and external communications for the region working closely with Group Comms Manager Acts as the key focal point for the annual marketing communications planning process, competitor monitoring and strategic planning for Asia. Develops and enhances new and existing communication methods, materials and practices, particularly for flow activity where local markets need support programs. Lead initiatives across multi-disciplinary and multi-lingual teams and customers in multiple markets to ensure the internal client s needs in Asia are met. Participation in branding sessions, contributing with local insight. Effectively manages internal comms for the region under the guidance of Group Comms Manager and ED MarComms Ongoing documentation of feedback from internal / external stakeholders. Effectively measure and report local campaign success. Effectively manage a cross cultural team across different market conditions allowing your team to succeed within the confines of both the company vision and local business requirements to think global and act local. 1

2 2 Creates and Implements Marcomms campaigns Responsible for effective development and implementation of marketing and communications programs localised for key target audiences Manage approved budgets for each campaign and liaise with creative agencies to ensure quality and timeliness. Project management and operational execution for all campaigns (e.g. authoring creative briefs, managing the creative agency, working with internal stakeholders and managing production) Work closely with Sales/Client teams on campaign development, briefing and post-campaign evaluation. Responsible for measuring and reporting on all campaign activity for the purpose of reporting to both the marcomms team and the wider business. Outline clear performance goals for each campaign from brand awareness to revenue generation activities Project manage the execution of marketing campaigns and other marketing activity where necessary Work closely with the Two Social creative team to ensure excellent quality output Develops and implements considered and well managed campaigns across both Pardot and Salesforce Analyse data and diagnose issues and trends, and recommend action prior and during the execution of campaigns, tasks and projects Evaluate sponsorship and manage sponsorship opportunities Responsible for content production/delivery (whether in-house or via agency) for event/sponsorship presentation, speeches, website etc Copywriting for some campaign and communications activities where appropriate Supports change management, writing & communicating effective change throughout the co. Development of an effective annual Marcomms plan. Development of digitally led campaign plans to be agreed with the regional sales heads. On time and on budget delivery of marketing campaigns. All campaigns to have clear and consistent performance KPIs attached for post-campaign measurement and evaluation. Share campaigns results with relevant parties e.g. regional Mgt and Sales/Client teams, Marcomms team. Asia Marcomms Activity Plan (weekly updates). Communications within Asia is timely, relevant and effective. Assist in development of campaign calendar Campaigns planned, delivered and measured according to budget Demonstrates expertise in Pardot and Salesforce campaign implementation Demonstrates ability to use social media platforms to advantage campaigns and media relations/ PR function 3 Effectively manages new product releases. Plans and executes effective product readiness programs for new product releases across Asia in collaboration with Product Innovation. Works closely with Sales & Client services teams to determine product toolkit and communications requirements and manage execution with agencies and product Innovation team (flash demo, fact sheets, web content, case studies etc.) Manages training / briefing workshops for Sales/Client teams on product toolkit use. Good quality, localized product toolkits are available on time for core products. Develops and implements a training/briefing workshop program for Sales/Client teams on the toolkit prior to product launch. 4 Manages and contributes to continuous improvement in Marcomms processes and standards. Implements and improves relevant Marcomm processes for the Asia business to ensure clarity around roles & responsibilities, good use of resources (internal & external) and deliver best outcome for the business. Evaluates and implements improvement to Agency / Company processes (WIPs, reports, approval process, etc) to increase agency effectiveness and ROI. Develops and maintains standard Marcomms reporting mechanisms (e.g. doc, ppt, etc) Processes implementation / improvement plan by Agency relationship is healthy and robust. Maintain and track budget spreadsheet. Contributes to the ongoing improvement in Group Marcomms processes. 2

3 Manages and develops internal communications frameworks for Asia to increase knowledge sharing, employee engagement and internal feedback. Contributes to Marcomms Group processes and standards Manages day to day operations and liaison with agencies & relevant suppliers network for Asia Manages Asia Budget effectively, including estimate and invoicing management and reporting 5 Leads and manages a high performing team. Holds team members accountable with clear objectives, KPI s, policies and procedures. Drives high performance in the team through managing and coaching the team and providing quality feedback. Recruits and selects high performers, develops talent and then recognises and rewards performance. Facilitates regular team meetings to discuss issues, share knowledge, share achievements, and provides training and direction. Identifies training and development needs and provides the resources needed to develop team members. Hires good people using a defendable process. 5 JOB SPECIFICATION Position title: Education: Technical Skills: Industry experience: Management skills: Personal qualities: Technology skills: Language skills: Communication skills: Marketing & Communications Manager - Asia Marketing or Communication Degree Expertise in marketing communications and direct marketing disciplines including traditional print, digital and telephone direct marketing practice along with highly developed abilities in new media marketing. Demonstrated ability to write engaging copy and drive creative processes. Strong project management skills 5-7 years experience gained within a corporate or agency environment planning & executing high-impact marketing campaigns, communications/pr, activities and events. Solid experience working with 3rd party agencies to budget and timescales. Outstanding and proven track record of delivering successful marketing and communications programs, preferably digital in the B2B space. Interest or experience in media / communications industry is an advantage. Experience in dealing with a range of senior stakeholders and can demonstrate you have been an effective member of a team. Managing a cross cultural team across geographical locations. Proven ability to liaise with senior stakeholders to develop and implement Marcomms plans effectively. Ability to handle pressure, adapt quickly to change and multitask. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrably good at working within multi-cultural, geographically dispersed teams. Ability to work independently yet with a very high quality of output with minimal supervision. Confident and comfortable working with a broad range of customers, from SMEs to MNCs, Operational personnel to CEOs. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. An understanding of various digital file formats, and publishing/ printing terminology. Ideally some marketing automation and video production knowledge but not essential. Experience or keen interest in marketing automation and new marketing techniques. Must have very strong written and verbal English. Other Asian language skills such as Mandarin, Thai, Vietnamese or Bahasa would be an advantage. Internal and external communications experience. 5
