2 AN INTRODUCTION TO CLYDE TRAINING SOLUTIONS Purpose-built Training Centre Clyde Training Solutions (CTS) is a unique centre of excellence dedicated to the delivery of mandatory and industry enhancing offshore and maritime training courses. Opening in 2016, CTS is the latest in the range of services offered by The Clyde Group and builds upon existing services provided by Clyde Marine Training, which has been providing industry recognised and certified training courses for marine personnel since 2005 as part of its Short Courses division, in addition to its core function of being the No.1 training provider for the British Merchant Navy, recruiting approximately 50% of the annual Trainee Officer intake. Approved Training Centre The success of the Short Courses division, however, in terms of volume of delegates and courses led to the creation of this purpose-built training centre in Clydebank on the outskirts of Glasgow, the heartland of Scotland s shipbuilding past, present and future. The centre offers basic to advanced courses for both marine and oil & gas sectors and is certified to deliver full STCW, MCA and offshore approved and mandated courses, all on one location please check out our website for a full list of courses: clydetrainingsolutions.com Specialist courses which require specific simulation equipment to deliver realistic real-life scenarios are provided on-site, utilising the following equipment: Deep-water training pool HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) Fire training ground complete with module training stack Helideck, complete with multiple foam monitors and access points We believe all of this establishes the facility as being the leader in its field that can influence and enhance competency standards. On-site Training But, we understand that it is not always practical to send large amounts of your staff to our centre in one go, so we also specialise in providing on-site training specific to our client s requirements, but still meeting the highest of industry standards.

4 TRAINING MANAGEMENT SERVICE Focused on your Training Needs We provide a Training Management Service that ensures your maritime and offshore personnel complete their company designated training requirements, on time, at the best training facilities, at the most cost effective location. Our Training Administration team are currently delivering the following; 160 Customer specific Training Matrix embedded into the Administration system 15 System parameters controlling every training event booking 480 Training courses managed every month 102 System generated Crew Compliance reports daily 240 Accommodation bookings monthly We strongly believe that outsourcing your training administration process is not just a time-saving exercise, if managed effectively it can reduce training and supply chain costs ensuring a sustainable service. CTS can deliver all administrative functions related to assuring and managing a competent workforce. Where performance can be improved, we would organise relevant training for personnel and third party suppliers at one of a range of facilities. We work extensively with our clients to ensure their Training Matrix Administration a key aspect of workforce capability is not only fit for purpose, but also offers visible value, savings and innovation.

5 Full Service Our TMS encompasses the following functions: Document control Recording and reporting In line with clients own Competence Management System (CMS), training requirements can be coordinated and administered in their entirety Benchmarking: the comparison of processes and performance against the best in the industry. Particular attention is paid to quality, time and cost. Benchmarking reveals what makes a business successful and provides targets to emulate Risk measurement: to assess the probability and potential impact of any given risk Analytical and statistical performance analysis: to reveal drivers and barriers to performance success. These may be used to shape the best system for the achievement of defined business goals Reduction in cost with single invoice processes to meet with clients needs beyond the training service offering

6 TRAINING CENTRE BUILD CONSULTANCY CTS can provide a Consultancy Service where we assist our Clients to develop their own Training Centre and gain internationally recognised Training Approvals. Training Facilities CTS can deliver prefabricated, modular training apparatus, to facilitate safety training such as firefighting, sea survival and technical simulation courses. It can be designed and manufactured to suit the Clients requirements and delivered to any global location, knowing that the equipment will meet the requirements of international industry training standards. Facility Accreditation CTS work with new or existing local Staff to develop their skills to enable them to construct and deliver new training courses and to achieve accreditation from internationally recognised industry authorities. CTS can then offer a comprehensive service to allow the Client to develop autonomous local training, to the highest industry standards.
