The Merrill Edge New Hire Program is a 4 to 5 month immersion program that will prepare you to meet your full potential as an investment professional. Once you graduate you will move to a team of Investment Specialists or the entry level roles within our Financial Solution Advice teams. Our training includes: Comprehensive & proven curriculum Specialized training on investment solutions, trading, margin, and investment advice (depending on role) all with strong focus on improving your client relationship skills. Dedicated team of experienced managers & on the job practice You will get plenty of time to practice and learn the skills before you graduate from the program, all with coaching from your new hire managers solely dedicated to this program. Licensing program Dedicated study time with vendor support and on-site champions to help you get your Series 7, and Series 63/66 depending on your final destination role.

Merrill Edge breadth of opportunities Advice delivery As a Financial Solutions Advisor you will have the opportunity to work with clients to help them meet their financial needs and life priorities. You will also partner with our Bank of America product specialists to offer holistic solutions to clients. You do not have to build a book from scratch we will provide you with the opportunity to deepen relationships with existing Merrill Edge and Bank of America clients. Prospect sales delivery In this role you will be the initial point of contact for referrals to Merrill Edge from prospects throughout the enterprise Bank of America, Wealth Management and U.S. Trust. No cold calling you will work to identify opportunities and present solutions across both Merrill Lynch brokerage and Bank of America banking products and services. Client services & guidance delivery As a representative in one of our Investment Centers, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their account and trading needs, and educating them on our trading platform, research and enterprise offerings. You will also have the opportunity to join dedicated client relationship teams focused on deepening relationships with our self-directed clients. Operations roles You will be responsible for providing clients with a seamless experience by developing and implementing better processes and procedures. We offer many roles where you do not need licenses and have very limited client phone interaction. Examples of positions include account opening, account maintenance and other middle office operation roles.
