Ltd.(BL) is a Mini-Ratna-I Public Sector Enterprise, under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India. Along with its five Joint Ventures in India and abroad, it is a much-respected transnational diversified conglomerate with presence in both manufacturing and service sectors. Balmer Lawrie is a market leader in Steel Barrels, Industrial Greases & Specialty Lubricants, Corporate Travel and Logistics Services. 2. Sealed Tenders are invited from the vendors those who are dealing and dealers/stockists of Armstrong brand PVC Floor. Such dealers/stockists are required to submit photocopies, as a proof of documents, for the job captioned at the premises referred in above subject. The Tender document along with its accompanying terms and conditions can be downloaded from the website of the Company 3. Any amendment/corrigendum would be hosted on web site only 4. The parties submitting tender will have to deposit the Earnest money (EMD) of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees: Five thousand only) in the form of Banker s cheque or Demand Draft drawn on any Scheduled Bank in favour of Balmer Lawrie & Company Ltd. and payable at Kolkata. 5. Balmer Lawrie, Kolkata reserves the right to award contract for the above services either to one party or more than one party. Balmer Lawrie also reserves the right to amend or withdraw any of the terms and conditions contained in the tender document or to reject any or all the tenders without giving any notice or assigning any reason and not bound to accept the lowest tender. The decision of Balmer Lawrie,Kolkata in this regard shall be final and binding on all. 6. All rights are reserved by Balmer Lawrie and Co. Ltd to reject any tender/s or all without specifying any reason. The Company reserves the right to increase/decrease the area/services during the period of the contract. 7. The vendors would be required to submit these papers (page 1 to 5) documents along with PRICE BID- Annex-I. All these papers are required to be signed/stamped in and put in one envelope and drop in Tender box available at Administration Department. 8. Submitted tender shall remain valid for acceptance for a period of sixty days from date of opening the tender. 9. Tenders not conforming to the requirements are liable for rejection. 10. Mere issue of tender document and submission of offer does not necessarily qualify for consideration of offer M/s Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd reserves the right to accept. Submission of incomplete tender will not be considered nor shall the company entertain any queries/persons whatsoever on the subject. Note : 1) Bids of any tender may be rejected if a conflict of interest between the bidder and the Company is detected at any stage. 2) BL reserves the right to cancel the tender/offers without assigning any reason whatsoever. 3) Company reserves the right to increase/ decrease the Quantity

The Vendor shall abide by the security regulations at site promulgated by the Company from time to time. 2. While offering please be informed that in the event of your non-compliance to any of the stipulations as specified here in above, Company also reserve the right to take appropriate action including termination of contract. 3. An interest free EMD Deposit of Rs.5000/- (Rupees five thousand only) is required to be deposited along with the tender documents in the form of pay order / bank draft executed by any scheduled bank in favor of M/s Balmer Lawrie & Co Ltd payable at Kolkata. Other than successful bidder, the EMD shall be refunded to other bidders after finalization of tender procedure. 4. Retention money: 10% of total bill value shall be recovered from the bill of vendor who will execute the job and refunded after one year from the bill date, which will be interest free. SPECIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. The Dealers/ stockiest should have Trade Licence, having annual turnover of more than Rupees fifty lacs. 2. Copy of income tax clearance certificate, sales / service tax clearance certificate & Xerox copy of PAN card and VAT registration No. 3. Audited balance sheet for last two years. 4. Quoted rate should be included of VAT only. Service tax as applicable. 2. All the materials will be provided by you for the said job, should be conformed to Indian standard code/ British Standard Code 3. All the safety rules laid down by Balmer Lawrie, needs to be adhered at your own cost. This will mainly include all kinds of applicable personal protective equipment & complied tools. 4. The job should be completed within ten days from the date of work order. In case of failing on completion of job in time you will be of WO value per week 5. A sum of 10% of the certified bill value shall be kept as an interest free retention money for a period of 12 months from the date of completion of job, on account of performance of the delivered items against guarantee clause. 6. After full completion of the Job in all respect and joint measurement done by vendors & BL s representatives and on submission of bill, payment shall be released after 30 days from the bill date. 7. It may please be noted, NO WASTAGE shall be considered for the above job. The payment shall be made based on actual measurement of the sheet 8. The Company reserves the right to increase/decrease the quantity in such case the vendor/supplier will be required to comply
