SUBJECT DESCRIPTION Study and analysis of the importance of Human Resources in business organizations as a determining factor of success in them. This subject forms an essential part of the Business Management Subject that gives name to the current degree / degree. To pass Human Resources Management of 4º year the credits of Management and Organization of Companies I and II must be obtained. 1.- COMPETENCES 4. 4 AF4 Individual Practices 15 TOTAL Presence Hours 60 Code Name Not oncampus hours AF0 Self student work ASSESMENT OF LEARNING 1.- CLASS ATTENDANCE: In order to be eligible for examination by continuous assessment students must attend at least 75% of scheduled class time (attendance sheets will be used). As students may be absent 25% of the classes, no attenuating circumstances will be accepted for absences. 2.- ASSESMENT SYSTEM AND CRITERIA: ASSESSMENT SYSTEM Code Name Percentage SE6 Individual Projects 25% SE3 Written examination with reasoning questions 25% SE4 Written exam with exercises 50% ORDINARY CALL The subject is qualified by a continuous evaluation system that will consist on the following assignments: Integrated HR management work, in which the student will have to apply each of the different topics of the subject such as Organization chart, Recruitment, Placement, Employee Testing and Selection, Training and Developing Employees, Performance Management and Appraisal, Managing Careers and Retention, Compensation. Applied tests of knowledge, which will try to evaluate the understanding of the subject and its real application to the company, in the area of the Direction of Human Resources. These tests represent 25% of the final grade of the subject. Final test, theoretical and practical, consisting on applied reason in questions (25%) and resolution of practical cases (25%), allowing to know the student's ability to relate the different concepts and key elements of the people management in the Organizations. It will be asked to know and apply the basic concepts of each of the topics covered in the course. The assessment of this test will be 50% of the final grade of the subject. Students who do not attend the final exam will be graded with "Not Presented", regardless of whether they have carried out any academic activity specific to the continuous evaluation (Permanent Commission of the Governing Council at its meeting of June 25, 2014) 4
5 EXTRAORDINARY CALL. Theoretical-practical test, consisting on questions of applied reasoning (25%) and resolution of practical cases (75%), allowing to know the student's ability to relate the different concepts and key elements of the management of people in business organizations. You will be asked to know and apply the basic concepts of each of the topics covered in the course. The assessment of this test represents 100% of the final grade of the subject. As the schedule of activities or face-to-face tests (exams, practices, exercises, work, presentations, etc.) has been established in advance, these tests will not be repeated for the student, except for reasons of force majeure. 1.- SUBJECT PROGRAMME: 7.
