3 What happened? Your company has grown and changed. There s no time to keep up with updates. Your implementation was complex. Since implementation, your company has changed. An implementation that fit your company two years ago likely isn t as effective or efficient today. New products or services, a larger workforce, and even the realization you re now ready for succession planning can all make last year s system configuration seem less aligned with your current goals. 4 What happened? Implementation uncovered new challenges in your old process. Implementation was put on hold and stayed there. You ve had a change in administrators. When organizations go into implementation thinking they ll simply align their system with their existing talent management processes, most are surprised to discover that their old ways especially those propped up by paperwork and spreadsheets are terribly out of date.
