2 Our Founder Ron Ellis Managing Partner Desk Specialty: Chemicals, Textiles, Apparel, and Retail As Managing Partner of MRI The Mayberry Group, Ron brings both dedication and experience to his role. Prior to joining the MRINetwork, his distinguished career spanned the fiberglass, plastics, consumer products, chemicals, textiles and apparel industries. He held management responsibilities in many aspects of the industries in which he served; human resources, purchasing, planning, scheduling, maintenance, engineering, manufacturing, distribution, retail and sales. Before starting his own executive search firm in 1988, Ron was Vice President for a major vertical textile/apparel company and also served as a member of the Board. As a result, he understands the impact of the staffing role on a company's success. Ron has served in many community leadership roles including President, Chamber of Commerce, President, Manufacturing Association, President, Surry County Personnel Association as well as serving on the Board of Directors for the local Rotary Club. Ron holds a B.S. in Business Administration from East Carolina University and is committed to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards while meeting his clients' needs.

After starting his search firm, Ron placed me as President and CEO of another textile manufacturing company which I ran for six years and helped the owners sell out to a larger more diversified company.
