1 TENDER for Selection of Vinyl / Flex printer under Rate Contract for Two Years Bank of Baroda invites sealed tenders on two-bid system basis from established vinyl / flex printers operating in Mumbai City. The Bank will short-list one or more printers based on technical and commercial bid and enter into Rate-Contract with the selected printer(s), for two years, for its printing requirement of vinyl / flex material. [Please note that this tender is not for seeking printers for printing on regular paper or paper based output.] The sealed tenders should reach the following address:- The Asst. General Manager (Marketing & Corp. Comm.) Bank of Baroda Baroda Sun Tower C-34, G-block, Bandra Kurla Complex Bandra (E), Mumbai Last Date of submission 23 rd April 2013 by 1400 hrs The Tender document should be submitted in TWO SEPARATE Envelopes - properly sealed and clearly super-scribed as Envelope 1 - Technical Bid Tender for Selection of Vinyl / flex printer Envelope 2 - Commercial Bid Tender for selection of Vinyl / flex printer. Eligibility Criteria: The bidders should have full-fledged printing setup (preferably Vutek Machines) in Mumbai. The bidders should have an in-house independent fabrication unit. The bidders must have been in vinyl / flex printing business for at least 3 years. The bidders should have the capacity of printing a minimum of sq. ft of vinyl / flex material per day. Scope of Work: Bank will request the printer to print vinyl / flex for its display requirements in and around Mumbai City during the rate contract period, as per requirement. This will include display material for hoardings, bus-shelters, pole kiosks, banners, bus-wrap, train-wrap, etc. The scope of printing will include all outdoor and indoor media utilities. Bank may require the printer to print display materials on various substrates like flex (front lit, back-lit & self-adhesive), vinyl, one way vision, translates, etc. The Printer may
2 be required to use different make of substrate (Flex/Vinyl) viz. Chinese / LG / Star depending on the requirement. Bank, therefore, requires the printer to provide the Technical & Commercial bid for material of various quality standards, indicating the Make and Grammage. Confidentiality Clause: The bidder shall keep confidential all the information relating to the project or to any other aspect of Bank s business that comes into its possession as a result of or in connection with its work under this project. Discretion Clause: The Bank reserves the right to reject any / all applications without assigning any reasons thereof. Mere submission of an offer to the Bank does not entitle an applicant to any benefits / rights / preference in selection. Canvassing is prohibited and will lead to disqualifications. Bank may award the work order/ s to more than one printer at its sole discretion. Selection of a printer(s) will not entitle the said printer(s) to ask for work as a matter of right. It shall be purely the Bank s discretion to award work to any of the printer(s) so selected. Validity of Tender: The Tender will remain valid and open for evaluation according to the terms for a period of at least three (3) months from the date the tender submission date closes. Submission of Bids: The bids should be submitted in TWO SEPARATE ENVELOPES, containing Technical and Commercial bids, properly sealed and clearly super-scribed as Technical Bid Tender for selection of vinyl / flex printer and Commercial Bid Tender for selection of vinyl / flex printer. The Technical Bid should be submitted as per Annexure A. The Commercial Bid should be submitted as per Annexure B. The Bids should be submitted as per details given in Annexure C. The bidder must substantiate all claims made in the Technical Bid by submitting copies of the following documents as enclosures to the Technical Bid : Client Certificate/s from at least two of their important customers. Statement of Experience (including Names of client/s, nature of project(s) and no. of years since in business). TAN, ST No. & Service Tax No. (As Applicable). Profile of Management Team, Organization Structure, Employee Strength. Photographs of office / facility / machines / infrastructure. Bids received later than the schedule given in Annexure C will be rejected.
3 Bids must be submitted strictly as per Tender Document and in the prescribed Formats along with relevant enclosures. Applications submitted in formats other than prescribed in this Tender Document and/or with modification/deviation may be liable for rejection. General Terms: The selected Printer / Agency for the above jobs will have to ensure timely supply of display material directly to OOH media agencies as and when required by the Bank. The quality parameters / specifications for the display material are to be strictly adhered to and deviations in the same, if found, would be viewed as violation to the contract and suitable action as per the contract will be imposed. Bank will, at random, arrange for verification of quality of materials used and printing the same, through third party or otherwise. The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all applications or the entire Annual Rate Contract exercise without assigning any reason, whatsoever. The Bank reserves the right to scrap the Tender at any time at its discretion without assigning any reason, whatsoever. Relevant information / copies of certificates should be annexed to the Tender. Nonreceipt of any information / certificates with the Tender may entail rejection of the Tender. The selected bidder(s) shall enter into an Agreement with the Bank after the final selection process is over as per terms and conditions which are mutually agreed between the parties.
