6 Quick Facts Gallup Study only 30 percent of surveyed employees were considered to be engaged, with 50 percent disengaged. Gallup reports a strong link between employee engagement and patient satisfaction: As organizations improve their engagement levels, there is a positive linear relationship with growth in patient satisfaction and loyalty. Purdue University researchers found a direct link between worker satisfaction and customer satisfaction and between customer satisfaction and financial performance. 6
