1 What is a WaterART Master Trainer? WaterART Master Trainer is an independent contractor who has obtained the sanction by completing the Master Trainer Boot Camp as well as successfully has completed a minimum of three levels of Certification qualifications through onsite programs namely the Instructor Certification, Specialized Populations ( Senior) Instructor Certification and/or Arthritis Instructor Certification and Personal Training Specialist Certification. In addition, they have completed specific Master Trainer Intern exams and trained under a Grand Master Trainer. They have signed on to uphold the standards of excellence with WaterART Fitness. A WaterART Master Trainer may be hired through Corporate WaterART Fitness International and/or contracted their services out as a representative to WaterART Fitness. They may choose to deliver Educational Clinics ( such as Arthritis, Weight Management, Healthy Back), provide Facility Master Classes, and/or deliver Continuing Educational Credit (CEC) Workshops and/or Certification programs that they have the expertise and experience to lead. They may choose to work at this position part and/or full time dependent on their personal goals and time availability. In other words, any activities outside of Master Training job descriptions and responsibilities will be done under the Master Trainer s own business name and will not be considered WaterART Fitness income nor services. A Master Trainer may choose to purchase a The WaterART Master Trainer Business Kit to increase their revenue through our a sales bonus program. The membership allows use of a Business Kit which contains information about WaterART s researched based educational programs, products, agenda s, course materials and use of templates of flyers. Additionally, they will have access to a scheduling system and relevant database and tracking tools via the website. A Master Trainer who chooses not to purchase a membership kit may only be booked directly through Corporate WaterART Fitness Inc. office. Only a WaterART Master Trainers will be licensed to utilized the WaterART Professionals Business logo other educational resources for teaching in public places. (with membership program) Earn additional income for promoting conferences, workshops and memberships Do something you enjoy part-time or full-time Each candidate must: Criteria for becoming part of the Team: 1. possess a University/ college degree in a health related/exercise science field OR have 3 levels of WaterART Certification (Instructor, Senior s & Specialized Populations Instructor and Personal Training Specialist Certification ) with 85% or more score on both the practical & written exams and experience in the fitness industry. 2. Achieved Gold Level Certification Status 3. possess a current CPR/First Aid and/or Life guarding qualifications 4. have been teaching aquatic fitness for 3 years or more 5. have some experience with Training Instructors or Leadership training 6. have completed Fundamentals Instructor Certification, Specialized Populations Instructor Certification, Personal Training Specialist through onsite programs or the Master Trainer Boot camp 7. have completed the Master Trainer Boot Camp (Policies and Procedures meeting) 8. must submit a current and accurate resume. 9. must have access to internet and 10. must read and write English 11. must be able to deliver the Fundamentals Instructor Certification, (theory & practical) Arthritis Instructor Certification and/or Kidz Instructor Certification Programs 12. Master Trainers with an exercise science degree will be able to teach either Personal Training Specialist and Rehabilitation Specialist Course 13. Master Trainers will only teach the workshops that they are experienced in as there is a huge range of expertise needed to deliver all programs. Therefore, not all Master Trainers have to be able to teach all programs. 14. must be exclusive to WaterART TM Trainer Team (for Aquatic Fitness Instructor Training and Education). 15. must team teach with another Grand Master Trainer prior to teaching all certification programs on their own
3 16. must submit a business proposal on how you will contribute to the team develop your business plan for your success achieve your goals as a Master Trainer how WaterART Fitness Inc. will help YOU! (We are here for support!) 17. will purchase all appropriate WaterART TM manuals, videos and uniforms for training or workshop sessions through WaterART Fitness Inc 18. the Master Trainer will receive a flat rate of a 60/40 split when WaterART Corporate Office books an event ( 60% for WaterART Fitness Inc) and 40/60 split when Master Trainer books the event ( 60% for Master Trainer) 19. Master Trainers will be eligible to earn a 5% commission on all facility memberships sold. 20. Corporate WaterART Fitness Inc. office will facilitate all registration via online, mail in, or a fax option. 21. will be able to utilize the scheduling system on the website to book and promote events 22. be willing to work cooperatively with Educational Director and other Master Trainers and Apprentice Trainers to maintain quality of programs and adhere to mission statement. 23. will facilitate 4 events/year or more in local area providing each instructor who attends with a appropriate materials for WaterART courses. 24. will collect delegates Par Q s and Liability forms, issue all in attendance a certificate of course complete and all receipts will be issued via Corporate office. 25. will receive a WaterART Master Trainer Professional number for tracking purposes. How do you begin? First, you put forth an application via the internet or a written letter. When you are accepted by the Educational Director, you will be sponsored by the Educational Director or a WaterART Grand Master Trainer who is has had many years of experience and may train all levels of certifications. You will be invited to attend a Master Trainer Boot Camp to complete all levels. Additionally, you will complete the WaterART Policies and procedures meeting so that you know how to run a successful business using the WaterART standards of training, education and business practices. After completing all certifications you will become a Master Trainer intern until you have successfully delivered your first workshop and certification presentation. To complete the Master Trainer protocol you will team teach with a WaterART Grand Master Trainer to deliver Quality Education. Julie Twynham, Diana Griffin, Katharine Brown McLarty or Drusilla Leitch will assist you on your first event. You begin by teaching WaterART Fundamentals, Kidz or Arthritis Instructor Certifications programs then add workshops and more advanced programs as you gain experience and confidence. You may choose to obtain The WaterART Master Trainer Kit. The Master Trainer Kit contains information on how to be come an Independent WaterART Master Trainer as well as all 33 educational videos, 15 Speedo Mitts and a full WaterART Business Disc. The Business disc provides all the templates for handouts and presentations as well as marketing and promotional information. You will also become eligible to sell Facility
4 memberships which yield a 5% residual income on sales from the clientele. This may build into a substantial income. The most successful WaterART Master Trainers enjoy a balance of teaching, training, merchandising Growth in your business comes from sharing the WaterART business opportunity with others and helping them decide if it's right for them. This is called sponsoring. WaterART Master Trainers sponsor other Instructors as they certify them in other programs. The Master Trainer helps them to merchandise and deliver products and services that enhance the WaterART programs. In doing so, they gain a small percentage income from their network of instructors they have trained. This is called residual income. It will come in the form of a quarterly check based on your network s activity and performance. Like any other business, your WaterART business needs frequent input and activity to grow. Over time, an Independent WaterART Master Trainers business can grow considerably.
