3 Why train with the Energy Institute? Effective energy management is an essential tool in helping to reduce carbon emissions, improve efficiency and save money. As the professional body for the energy industry and the only body granting the Chartered Energy Manager title, the Energy Institute (EI) is committed to providing all the resources you need to achieve the highest level of competence in energy management, whether you are a professional energy manager or require an understanding of energy management as part of a related role. The EI s courses and qualifications have been developed by some of the most experienced energy management experts in the industry, and are recognised by employers in the UK and internationally. Our unique three-level structure of core energy management qualifications provides a fullpicture understanding of energy management at the right depth and breadth to fit your experience level and learning needs. Each of our qualifications will enable you to develop your knowledge and skills and demonstrate your experience to employers, clients and peers, resulting in improved employability, confidence and performance. They also provide the ideal preparation for applying for a Chartered title to further demonstrate your level of competence as an experienced professional. Whether you are completing a classroom or an online course, you also gain access to our online learning centre, where you can discuss ideas and get feedback from other participants on the course. EI training can also benefit your organisation in a variety of ways - all our courses include a practical workbased project in addition to teaching, and following training, employers can feel confident that energy management work is completed to the highest possible standard In-house training is also offered to your team with courses tailored to their needs, and to support implementation of behaviourchange initiatives across your organisation. Finally, at the EI we believe that learning should be continuous, even between courses - which is why professionals completing our qualifications also gain access to a host of free development resources such as topical videos and articles to keep you up-to-date on the latest industry developments. We hope very much that you will take advantage of our training resources and find them helpful in achieving your learning and development goals.
