1 Campbell Arnott s Contractor Management Registration process The Campbell Arnott s Contractor Management process is completed in two parts: online company registration and online employee registration and induction bookings. Please visit the Campbell Arnott s Contractor Information site here: campbellsarnottscontractor.com.au for more information. Let s get started! Allow yourself time to complete online registration, including time to source and upload your company documents and information. You will need to register and then renew your subscription to maintain compliance. The system will you when you need to login to keep your documents current. User guides with screenshots in the system can be found on the documents and information page. Company registration Step 1 > Register your company The Campbell Arnott s Contractor Management System can be found here >> Select Register and: > Search for your company s name to request a new login, or choose to add your company and search by your ABN. > Complete your registration request by filling in your company details (name, address, ABN and contact details). > Submit these details and, on approval, you ll be ed your new user name and password to login. Step 2 > Register your company s details Using your new details, login to the Campbell Arnott s Contractor Management System here >> Select apply to follow the process to register your company. To help you prepare for registering your company s details, we have provided a list of questions you may be asked in this process, which can be found in the following tables. 1
2 Question Do you acknowledge that your business invoices Campbell Arnott's directly / operates under your own Safety Management System (SMS)? Has your company been appointed as a Principal Contractor? Is your company certified to the AS/NZS 4801 or OHSAS International Safety Management System standard? Which of the following represents your business type? In which states will be completing work? Do you pay or expect to pay more than 7.5k in wages annually? In which states are you registered for Workers Compensation? Does your company engage third party subcontractors for work performed on a Campbell Arnott s site? Will you provide any advice or reports upon which Campbell Arnott s may rely - including but not limited to Engineering Services or similar design-type services such as Engineering design, calculations, structural analysis etc? Will you be driving a vehicle on site? In the previous 12-month period, was your organisation or Subcontractors subject to any prosecutions from government authorities? Requires content of the Arnott s WHS & GMP Agreement to be displayed, and for the registering company to select that they agree and will abide by the agreement. Please identify the Campbell Arnott s site/s where you conduct work. Detail Subcontracting companies do not need to register their company. Direct contracting companies will instead register their subcontractors individual workers. A principal contractor is a person conducting a business or undertaking that commissions a construction project. A construction project is a project where the cost of construction work is $250,000 or more in QLD, NSW or VIC or $450,000 or more in SA. This certification is not a requirement of this process and very few companies hold this certification. If you select Yes, you will later be asked to provide a current Australian/New Zealand Standard 4801 or OHSAS Compliance Certificate showing a JAS/ANZ stamp. Sole Trader Partnership, Company, Trust, Joint Venture/ iiiiialliance This will determine if you need to provide Income Protection Insurance or Workers Compensation Insurance Please only select the state/s where you hold a Workers Compensation Policy, as you will be required to upload a policy for each state you choose. Your answer will determine if you need to provide subcontracting information as part of your Safety Management System. If you answer Yes, then Professional Indemnity insurance coverage (minimum $10 million) will be required. If you answer Yes, Motor Vehicle insurance coverage ($10M or above) will be required. 3 Work activity You will be asked to identify the type/s of work your company will perform by selecting one or more of the following activities: Work Activity Administration Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Asbestos (Removal, Monitoring, Inspections, Assessments) Asphalt, Bitumen and Concrete Works Building / Construction Work Cleaning Confined Spaces Consulting Services Cranes or Hoists Dangerous Goods Delivery of Goods Demolition Design of Plant or Equipment Dogging Electrical Elevating Work Platforms (Boom Lift or Scissor Lift) Engineering Flammable Dusts, Gasses or Vapours Forklift Gardening Hazardous Areas Hazardous Chemicals Heights Hot Work Lines for Chemicals, Fuel or Refrigerants Certification Requirements State specific Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Licence State specific Asbestos Removal and / or Assessor Licence State Specific Building Contractor Licence Dangerous Goods Vehicle Licence and you will be promoted to provide evidence of managing this high risk work in the Safety Management System State specific Electrical Contractor Licence 3
4 Work Activity Lock Out / Positive Isolation Pest Control Plant / Equipment Operation Plumbing and Gas Fitting Pressure Equipment Operation (Boiler, Steam Engine, Turbine) Rigging Scaffolding Security Sub-Contracting Supply or Re-stock of Materials Temperature Extremes Trades (e.g. mechanic, fitter & turner, carpenter) Waste Management (e.g. waste removal, supply of waste containers) Certification Requirements HACCP Australia Certification (Hazard Analysis Critical Control) or SA Pest Controllers Licence State specific Pluming / Gas-fitting Licence Depends on your answer. You may be promoted to provide evidence of managing this risk work in the Safety Management System Depends if you enter manufacturing areas. Depends if you enter manufacturing areas. EPA Waste Transporter Licence If you subcontract out work that requires a licence, you can select this which ensures you won t be asked to provide this licence in your company name. Based on your answers, you will be assigned a category. 4
5 Step 3 > Pay for registration based on category You will now be categorised and pay using the information you have provided. The costs outlined below are determined by the complexity and verification needed for your registration. Category 1 Low Risk Category 2 Medium Risk Category 3 High Risk A company that will be providing consulting and/or supply services only A company that will be providing more than consulting and supply services but not performing any high risk activity A company that will be providing services that involve high risk activity (These high risk works include; work at heights, construction, confined space, asbestos, sub-contracting, haz areas, hot work & excavation) $300 + GST $400 + GST $600 + GST All categories 1, 2 and 3 Bi-annual renewal fee $100 + GST Step 4 > Upload insurances and licences You ll next be prompted to upload copies of the licences and insurances that correspond to your selections in the profile and work activities questions above. 6 Step 5 > Complete a Safety Management System (SMS) review and finalise registration The final step for company registration is to successfully complete a SMS review, an independent desktop audit of your Work Health and Safety documents by a qualified WHS professional. To complete your registration, you will next register your employees, purchase their site access cards, and book their inductions. 6
7 Employee registration Step 1 > Add employees Login to the Campbell Arnott s Contractor Management System here >> and select Manage Employee Data. Choose Add Employee and enter your employee s details. Select submit. Step 2 > Choose employee role/s Select process next to the employee s name, select their role/s, and apply. Ensure you ve agreed to the terms and conditions and choose a card delivery address. Select save. You will pay for employee registration, access cards and inductions later in this process. Registration costs $65 + GST per person (two year duration, including annual induction). Step 3 > Upload supporting documents You will now be prompted to upload documents supporting the role/s you ve chosen for your employee, including a photo for their ID access card. Please note > Permitted file types for documents include pdf, jpg, doc, docx and txt. Only files up to 2 Mb will be accepted for upload. The permitted file type for photos is jpg. Step 4 > Book training Next, you will book the online training for your employee, with the induction/s listed at the bottom of the page. > Online induction: No charge (currently annual) Click book and choose the inductions from the list, save and add to cart to proceed to checkout. Step 5 > Pay for registration Pay for the employee registration and training via credit card. Step 6 > Registration and training approved Pegasus will review your employee s registration and training request, and on approval, you ll be ed details about their induction.
