Click Show Archived. Select the archived job posting that you wish to renew from the drop down menu. Scroll down and set new posting and expiration dates. Click Submit to save and finish. 6 CAMPUS INTERVIEW PROGRAM (CIP) Interviews occur during weekdays of the fall and spring semesters. Typically, interviews begin at 9:00 a.m. and end by 5:00 p.m. If you wish to schedule an interview(s) before 9:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m., please contact the Career Services Center at (302) An interview can also be conducted via Skype where you can remain in your office and conduct interviews with the students logging into Skype at the Career Services Center. Interview dates should be reserved at least 4 weeks in advance of the interview. If you wish to set an interview date within a time frame shorter than 4 weeks, please call Lynn Jacobson, Coordinator, at (302) to discuss options. How do I Request a Campus Interview Date? Click on the Campus Interview Program (CIP) tab located on the horizontal toolbar at the top of the page. Select Request A Schedule. Please fill in all of the necessary information including position(s) description(s) unless requesting interview room only. All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. Click Submit to finish. The request will then be reviewed. Requests with incomplete job descriptions will not be approved until a complete job description is submitted. You will be contacted if we have any questions regarding your request. Upon approval, an confirmation will be sent detailing your campus interview timeline. What are the Options for the Campus Interview Program (CIP)? There are different options as to how candidates can be selected and sign up for interview times when requesting an on campus interview schedule. Options are as follows: 1. Preselect Candidates will submit their resumes online through Blue Hen Careers for review. Only selected candidates labeled as invited will be able to sign up for an interview time. The maximum number of preselected candidates is based on the number of time slots available. 2. Preselect to Alternate This model follows the same process as #1, except alternates will also be selected. There is no set minimum or maximum as to the number of alternates selected this is solely based on employer's discretion. Alternates will only be able to sign up for an interview time on the last day of the sign up period if invited candidates either decline or fail to select a time slot. Page 6
3. Preselect to Alternate to Open An employer will choose preselected candidates based on submitted resumes as well as alternates. If any interview times are still available after a certain time period, the remaining slots are open to any student. 4. Preselect to Open This model follows the same process as #1; however, on the last day of the sign up period, any student is able to sign up for remaining time slots. 5. Open Any student may sign up for an interview time slot. Employers will NOT be able to review resumes prior to the student signing up for an interview time. 6. Room Reservation Only The employer will be responsible for all scheduling arrangements and is only reserving space on campus to conduct interviews. How do I Manage my Campus Interview Schedule? Once the Campus Interview schedule request has been approved, you do not need to do anything until you receive an from Career Services that indicates your applicants are ready for review. This is usually two weeks prior to your interview date unless otherwise requested and stated in your confirmation. Reviewing and Selecting Candidates: In order to review incoming resumes and preselect the candidates for interviewing, click on the Applicants tab under Campus Interview Program (CIP) from the main screen. This will display all of the applicants under the interview schedule. There are two ways to review submitted documents. One way is to click on the shortcut icons located in the same row of the candidate's name. Alternatively, you can click on the candidate's last name to view the application and submitted documents. Page 7
In order to change a candidate's status from pending, under the Applicants tab, pick the position the student applied for, then select the candidates by checking the box next to their last names. From the drop down menu, select invited, not invited, or alternate (if you have chosen to include alternates). NOTE: this batch option will change multiple statuses at once. Please only select the names of all invited candidates at one time, and then only select the names of not invited candidates, etc. Each candidate will then be notified via at the end of your review period if he/she is selected to interview. Selected candidates will begin reserving time slots by logging into their own personal UD/ Blue Hen Careers portal. No extra actions are required at this point from the employer's end. How Do I View my Final Schedule and Generate an Interview Packet? Now that all of the selections have been made and the candidates have selected interview times, viewing the final schedule is easy. To generate an interview packet, first, under the Campus Interview Program (CIP) tab, select the schedule you wish to view. Next, click on Schedules, select your interview date, and then click Generate Interview Packet. Page 8
Please select which documents to include within the packet (i.e. resume, cover letter, writing sample, etc.) and how it will be organized. Please allow a few minutes for this to generate. To view your final schedule, go under the Schedule tab, click on the interview and scroll down to Interviews Scheduled. How Do I Cancel an Interview Schedule? We appreciate and thank you for recruiting at the University of Delaware; however, should a situation arise where cancelling an interview schedule is necessary, please contact Lynn Jacobson at the Career Services Center at (302) as soon as possible so it can be removed from the calendar. HOW DO I REQUEST AN INFORMATION SESSION? Are you looking to gain more exposure to students at the University of Delaware? Hosting an employer information session will allow students to learn more about the organization and the application and hiring process. All information sessions take place at the University of Delaware. It is recommended that information session requests be made at the same time as your campus interview request or at least two weeks, if not more, in advance. This allows an appropriate amount of time to secure space and market your event to students. An option to request tabling is also available. All tabling requests will be placed at designated spots. It is recommended that tabling requests be made at least two weeks, if not more, in advance. The University of Delaware Career Services offers various information session types including: Pre Interview Information Session, a standard Information Session, an Information Booth/Table, an Employer hosted Event, and an Employer hosted Workshop. To request an information session type, click on the Event tab located on the horizontal toolbar at the top of the page. Select Interest Building Events. Click Add New. Please fill in the necessary information and choose which type of session to host from the drop down menu. All fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory. Page 9
What Are the Associated Costs? Please contact the University of Delaware Career Services Center s Event Manager at (302) for questions concerning the associated costs of events or information sessions. Depending on your selections/requirements, an information session can be free. How Do I View RSVP d Students? Under the Event tab, click the section labeled Information Session. Click Review next to the information session date and time. Select Reservations to view all respondents. How Do I Cancel an Information Session? We appreciate and thank you for recruiting at the University of Delaware. However, should a situation arise where cancelling an information session is necessary, please contact the Career Services Center at (302) or the Events Manager, Lisa Pia Reed, at lpia@udel.edu as soon as possible so it can be removed from the calendar. How Do I Register for a Career Fair? The Career Services Center is host to multiple career fairs every year and each semester. For more information on fair dates, fees, booth display sizes, sponsorship opportunities, and more, please visit our website at To officially register for a career fair or other event, please log in to your Blue Hen Careers and click on the Events tab at the top of the page, then Register next to the fair you would like to attend. You can also register through the Blue Hen Careers website at If you have any questions concerning career fairs, please contact Lisa Pia Reed, Events Manager, at (302) Page 10
